I’ll post pictures soon, but the Sawstop has been mounted to the base with the mobile cart. That took over two hours but the instructions are absolutely amazing. I added T9 to the cast iron and its soaking in right now.

Proto, your wrong, men are the devil women are the best!

(I am at gun point typing this, women are the devil!)

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Well I’d like to help you Karl, but women are like hurricanes. They burst into your life, turn everything around and when you survive your thinking…..wow. I Gotsta do that again!

As far as the Sawstop goes, the directions are contained in a full color booklet bound. The pieces are in numbered blister packs. It’s an amazing set up. I bought the mobile base and the set up was the exact same. The fence, hasn’t been put on yet but the set….the same. Really never put anything together this well put together. When I set up my Rikon bandsaw the instructions were horrible. Not so with the Sawstop. Once I get the wings and the extensions on, I’ll post some pics but it’s an amazing piece of equipment and the black and red is gorgeous .

My wife came down this evening and helped my put the saw on top of the base assembly and it was much needed but literally, everything has gone together incredibly smoothly. Can’t wait to run this beast!

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Long story short, if you decide to get a table saw, this is honestly a breeze to set up. Can’t get over the instructions.

John GlasseyMember since Jan 2014

How heavy is it Chris? Can you move it around by yourself ok lol. Just kidding you look like your in good shape. I bet it’s a beast.

Yes this is true, The Adam and Eve story covers a portion of this but doesn’t really say it outright so I will. Woman are put on this planet to tempt us, and they will do everything in their power to use their sexy bodies to get us in the trap. We think with our dongs and use them like a radar array to sniff out the sexiest woman for us. What we don’t realize is, were about to get trapped in the black widows net and she will make us her bi***, or die. This is the truth, so knowing this, its easy to understand that all that colorful talk about the tree and the snake is really summed up with this…. Eve was a sexy bi***, Adam couldn’t think of nothing except docking his space shuttle in her space port, to deposit his microscopic soldiers. But he was dammed for it, as all men to this day learn the mistake they made when its too late.

Remember, it may sound like a good idea at first, but when she becomes pregnant, and you got no job, no house, no care giving experience, lets me just say, it wasn’t a good idea. But too late, she’s got you now, hell she might even tricked you into it, but you think you got rights? Forget it buster, its called child support, weather your here or abroad, your going to pay, and pay, and pay, until there is nothing left but your bones. 😉

let’s not get carried away, it may be like that for some but not all….

I’ve been married to my wife for many many years we raised 3 beautiful children and have been happy together doing it, the children are all grown now , I couldn’t have asked for a better life……

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Yeah dude, pirate your own darn thread! John, it’s heavy as heck, about 300 without the mobile base. I lied, here’s a photo of the saw on the base. It’s covered in T9 without the wings or fence on it….

comp56Member since Sep 2014

have to say chris that is one hell of a sexy looking saw…….hope you never need the safety feature…..

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Thanks Comp. I can’t wait to get this guy put together…..this is what it will look like.

Wait till you see the paddle switch. I’m using a cabinet Sawstop at my school and this is set up identical. Plus I got it brand new for $650 off! I’m going to end up getting the Beismeyer fence and the long extensions with the savings.

chadlanthierMember since Mar 2013

Chris u always have the fancy tools. In all honesty, that’s a beautiful peace of equipment.

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

Very sexy machine u got yourself there bro!!

Marc HarrisMember since Jan 2016

Dang Chris….that saw is a thing of beauty.  Enjoy the heck out of it.

krutonMember since Jun 2015

That is going to be one nice setup. I’m jealous brother. Like someone else said, I hope you never need to use the blade stop. On that note, can you turn off the sensor or is it always on?

Why yes you can! If your cutting super wet wood or something conductive you can turn the key and it will reset the system so you can do what you need to do without blowing the brake and blade into an orgy or metal destruction!
krutonMember since Jun 2015

I assumed they had designed that unto the saw but wasn’t sure. I have a lot of other needs right now for a shop, but this is definitely going on the list.

My Wife wouldn’t let me get another saw outside of this. I was really focused on the PM2000 or the Sawstop cabinet for the price of this machine it was a no guess jump on it now kind of thing. I love the mobile base. It’s the cats shiny behind!

chadlanthierMember since Mar 2013

U have an awesome wife there Chris.

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

As a matter of fact Chad…..I do. She’s awesome.

And to my other news. Got my taxes done tonight but prior to I finished assembling and truing up my new Sawstop CNS175 with mobile base and DC attachment. The saw runs wonderfully and is quiet. Smooth too. I’ll be trading out the stamped wings for cast iron but I was quite happy to hear her purr to life. The brake system started right up and went through its checks and whenever I brushed the blade the light turned red. Here she is…..

JimboS1iceMember since Sep 2015

Looks good chris, bet you can’t wait to start really using it

Thanks a lot guys, Comp, the machine is the CNS175-TGP36 and its has a foot print of 33″x70″. Weighs in with the stamped steel and wing at around 450. 36″ rip. It sounds beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Coming from the contractor saw this beauty hums.

comp56Member since Sep 2014

nice thank you for taking the time to check for me, I’m still looking for a table saw and the longer I wait I suppose the better the saw I will end up with…..I have a spot approx. 104″x 132″ but that will include walking space…..

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

No problem Comp, the CNS175 comes with a slightly smaller profile but truthfully when I take an update picture of the shop it takes up the lions share of my shop. Truthfully Comp, this kit as I have it outfitted is $1900 US but I got it for $950 plus the cost of the mobile base and 36″ T Glide Beisemyer fence. It truly is amazing and in my advance class I’ve been using the cabinet version with the same footprint and the contractor version is rock solid. I’m hoping to shoot a video of the machine maybe over the weekend and go over the cool stuff.

Yeah, I was waiting till I have my shop outside to buy the saw and I was going to get the structure and saw at the same time but this was literally an unbelievable deal. If you’ve got a Woodcraft near you try one out!

comp56Member since Sep 2014

I live in an awesome country, live in an awesome part of the country as well, 10 minutes from wild life, bird hunting, fishing, Hockey, bear moose wilderness in general but not much woodworking places……..what gives….?

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

That’s just a shame Comp I’ve got the ocean 20 minutes away, the lakes regions 30 minutes away and I’m and hour from the White Mountains. And 20 minutes from Woodcraft…..;)
