Day two of our 12 part series is one of those tools you might not need every day but when you need it, it’s a huge lifesaver. A multi-tool has so many different functions, hence that is why they call it a multi-tool. You can use it to cut and sand. What is great about this tool is that you can even use it for tight areas. Since I started remodeling my house, I can’t tell you how many times I reached for a multi-tool. So if you are looking for a great gift, look no further.

Why Bosch Makes the Perfect Gift
My favorite multi-tool is the Bosch Startlock Plus. In fact, I own the corded and cordless version. The GOP40-30B is a solid tool that has gone through so much. The tool is going just as strong today as when I first bought it.
Besides the tool, I am a huge fan of the Bosch blades. Sure they are expensive, but for me, they seem to last the longest. I have used no-name blades and they tend to break teeth rather quickly. As with any multi-tool blade, just know what you are cutting into and try to avoid hitting nails with the wood blade as it pretty much destroys the blade right away.

Final Thoughts
An oscillating tool isn’t the most widely used tool but for someone who is into woodworking or other projects such as house remodeling, an oscillating tool is a perfect tool to have in your arsenal. When it comes to oscillating tools, Bosch is the premier tool to own. So if you want the best to give, give them Bosch.
