if you followed the buying tools 101 guide line, in paragraph 7 section 3 it clearly states there is no monetary value on needed tools, so in saying that all tools purchased by a needing user is clear of any debt occurred by said action

He’s got you there. My metabo representative sends me a copy of paragraph 7 section 3 every week.

You’re saying you don’t have $37 to spend on a beater tool box? $37 is the cost of a mocha choca tilapia ariana grande fappuccino at Starbucks.

Well they are all out of the boxes, but I wasn’t able to obtain a coupon code earlier today, so looks like I’ll just use it towards something else

Online says no longer available, although I decided to double check and call my store, and they said theres 2 available, but then he went to double check, and we got disconnected, and I don’t feel like going to the work of calling back, i’ll stop in tomorrow, not really concerned at this point

Just FYI if you have Huge hands, its a massive bitch to get the casters on. The bottom half is a bit flimsy, Seriously doubtful each tray can hold 50 lbs but for 60 or so bucks its a great to move all my shit sitting in totes to this thing! The Top Chest is actually really well made, well mine was at least, They look just like the Red PROLINE chests at lowes but a bit cheaper but not quite HF cheap. This set goes for around $500+ at acme tool
Yeah, definitely not the best box but good for the price. I can find the tops but can’t find the bottom. At my closest two Lowe’s. I might try the other one within 5 miles because I need some lumber to mount the hanging bins I bought.
Got the last bottom box they had in stock, used the code I got last night, the cashier entered the number in… $35!
Just went and bought a second set. For $70 it is a no brainer. Looks to be amost identical to the HD Husky set priced at $198.
Yeah yall better get goin if you want these theyre cheaper than any combo box ive ever seen at lowes and theyre decent quality
Two tops and one bottom at my local Lowe’s. Might take a look at them.
Fyi, anyone in or near New Hampshire, the Littleton Lowe’s has 2 bottoms and a few tops.
From our company bf letter select markets will be getting metabo combo kits front and center of the pro desk. Theyre aggressively priced to compete with home depots free tool and discount kits. Pro card holders also get an extra 10 percent off on top of what your pro desk associate bills for you. Flyer just says theyre the newer tools.
They have a few hitachi kits that will be going on sale as well as discounting the new nailers price isnt that great though. The new bf deals are being held back and theyre in unmarked boxes ltl associates are instructed to hide them in the back highest rack. So unless we look we dont know whats in them. Might be meh or they might be gone as soon as people see them. They weill be lined up at the main entrance of your store so you cant miss any of it.
Aldo cyber weekend should be feee shipping and percent off your purchase increasing in price as you spend more. This could change its not concrete
Some black friday deals have been put on the floor by mistake. DO NOT BUY THESE As these are marked at full price on bf they will be more than half off for black friday only. If it does not have a yellow sticker and its in the aisle do not buy it. Some people have been really bitching that were pulling the stuff from the floor but they will pay full price for it.

I’m right there with you. The only time I will try it is if there is a great deal on something specific I’m after, otherwise it’s just a real quick way for me to get into a fist fight!

If you want a cheaper jawhorse, the Value Pawn on Nebraska just south of Fowler has one for like $70(I think). I bet you could get it for $50

I bet most of us have individual sockets, regular wrenches, and regular screwdrivers that cost more than the corresponding sets

Me too. Did you look at those sockets? Pretty odd design, like the universal but with separate keys instead of being part of the socket. I wonder how much torque it can take…I’m sure more than most 1/4″ drive will ever use but it does mention rusted–stuck bolts.
The wrenches are pretty nice actually, the gearless does have a rather large head but still seems like good quality.

You make a good point, the design is to force the teeth in on the bolt which means a lot of force out on the socket. Its actually a lot like a gearless ratchet mechanism

The Hammerhead screwdriver is actually pretty handy. I have one and use it often. The wire stripper feature is kinda lame but the NCT works good enough to use for electrical work.

I do like the idea of it gripping the nut/bolt. I need to invest in the Gearwrench magnetic extensions.

Yeah, just wait for them to go on closeout haha
We picked one up a few weeks ago and it seems pretty good. My wife wanted a new auto screwdriver and liked that it is rechargeable.
