My big deal at lowes was on the 18v circ saw for $38. I got a hitachi 12v set for $$35. Outside of those, not much.
I forgot a year or so ago Lowes had a huge pricing error on Dewalt tools people made out like mad before they caught on. Maybe I need to check Lowes more but I kinda gave up as the deals dried up. I still stop in for regular sale items and such but not much clearance hunting. The deals at lowes seem to be appliance/special order returns or one off building supplies. You can make out like crazy on special order returns at Lowes.

I don’t believe they’re supposed to be removable. I think the design just allows them to rearrange the sets so they can use the case for slightly different sets at retailers. I think it’s just a happy accident that they don’t glue them in, so you should be able to get them out but I don’t believe that is the intent, so the larger ones may very well be glued in.

They take a little work to remove and reinstall them. I have removed some and moved them. You can probably slide a screwdriver under one side and turn it to pop it up a little, then slide it to the other side and do the same. I think it is a good feature that they are tight so they don’t fall out when you open the case.

It just seems like their are more opportunities at HD over Lowes for getting hot deals. HD is always turning over special and seasonal deals
Yeah, sometimes Lowes has good deals and sometimes it doesn’t. I’m still waiting for HD to drop the Bosch hammers some more. They have about four of the Brute jackhammers at $1000 that are usually $1500 that they can’t move. If they become a penny deal…………..

A few years a go I got some deals from Lowes like the Max nailer clearance and when they got rid of Knipex other than that its been pretty bare. I got a good deal on a washer and dryer but that’s not a really a tool deal.

If you live in the tampa orlando or polk county area there is a massive reset on lighting fixtures you can get some fixtures at a 99 percent discount. Light bulbs from dimming led to flourescent very cheap as well look in thr middle or main aisles.
