Which stores are these? I haven’t seen most of these(Only have seen the Bosch) and I frequent two Lowe’s in Tampa and occasionally go to some in Brandon/Riverview or Oldsmar(Tampa).

Right now most of polk county has what ive posted orlando area as well and zephyr hills most of the tampa stock is gone lol so you might have a drive if you show a picture they might match the price but some stores are stingy

Also forgot to add that the hitachi bl1830 3.0 slide batts are 44.98 as well if you can find them

BMack37Member since Sep 2015

I try to avoid Polk county, haha. They’ve really made it difficult to track the deals with their new website design, I’ll go to Lowe’s momentarily and see what we have here, I haven’t been since last Thursday because I’ve been hitting up pawn shops.

Are you ever in the Tampa area near the airport? Some good deals to be had at some of these pawn shops. There’s also a Matco/Snap On heaven in Ocala(Where my best friend from HS lives), I might go up there this or next weekend.

Yeah polk county sucks i dont go to tampa very often but if i find something worthwhile i go. Usually go there for travel though

If you live in the tampa orlando or polk county area there is a massive reset on lighting fixtures you can get some fixtures at a 99 percent discount. Light bulbs from dimming led to flourescent very cheap as well look in thr middle or main aisles. Also contractors and diyers wanting new blinds or to fill their stock of standard sizes most stores are resetting their blind departments so look out for heavily discounted blinds and window treatments

Nice!! Thanks for the “insider” information!!

Is it just me or did Bosch really go backwards on their new impact design? It is big and ugly!

Based on the new impact fight review by Oz Tool Talk, it’s the worst performing impact out of the lot tested…by a huge margin. Perhaps they watched that and decided to clear inventory, lol.

[External image (uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com), not copied] Pretty nice deals to be had. They had their Metabo section tucked away in the back. I don’t really feel like they gave them a chance. Needless to say there is one less miter saw now! I’ll post pics when I get home an open it up.

Nice deal, just in lowes now and didn’t see much, couple open box items, black and decker smart batteries dropped 20 bucks, nothing great though

Nah it was empty, would have been a good cheap grinder to throw a brush on for cleaning

@JimboS1iceThat DeWalt router is AWESOME!!!  I have that same one, I also bought the plunge attachment, plenty of power for majority of projects, heck it went through everything I have thrown at it.  I also  bought this, http://www.rockler.com/trim-router-table since most projects I do are small scale stuff.

That’s exactly what I need, I can make that work for anything really, the base is cracked where it lock and depth adjust color is jammed in there so my thought were to use this on a table

If you have time, can you snap a few pictures, or a video of the damage?  I am planing on getting a new custom base for mine to convert to making signs.

I’ve been eyeing those files for a while, I like the hex handle because I can use my Wera. Also I can use the hex adapter in my quick release on my drill, I sometimes chuck round files in my drill when I don’t have my rotary(at work). That’s a great price for that orbital, man I can’t wait until I can financially recover from the car trouble and my friend’s wedding, my finances are taxed well as of late. 🙁

Bosch deals going on til the end of the month I believe. The jig saw is a killer deal. I have it and love it. I missed out on the router last time at this price. I am torn between this one and the Triton. Ultimate goal is for it to be mounted on a lift for a table.

They have to put extra gravity in Australian models so they’ll stick to the Earth upside-down.

The Australian models also have to be hardened to keep out a much greater variety of wildlife that want to crawl inside and ride it home to kill you in your sleep.

I was recently in sydney and visited bunnings and sydney tools. The prices for shit are insane… Esp Ryobi… jesus… 299$ for a ryobi combo kit that costs less than a hundred in US lol. Whats wierd is that Sydney tools had a bunch of open box stuff that was either on display or just tossed into a box with the same models and they were selling them as “New”. How do you even get away with selling something thats dirty, handled, no box and no manual at full price?

Lowes is matching Menards 11% Rebate program in select stores.

It was explained to me that when you purchase an item in Lowes during the promo dates, your receipt has a 11% off coupon that you can use next time you shop.
