I know that the HD near my house had a kits impact, drill, cir saw. and flshlight, bag and 2 18v batterys for $60

FazzmanMember since Apr 2014

Not a power tool, but I did get my broken Razor-back shovel replaced this week with the life time warranty.

We dug up some palm stumps with it in our front yard, the head was bent and twisted slightly afterwards.   I shot them some pics of it on their facebook page and they sent me a new one.  they have good customer service.

I can’t seem to keep from buying redundant ratchets! Big azzed Kobalt 1/2″ and standard 1/4″ and 3/8″ HF Pro series, a couple of flap discs, and a Milwaukee tape…

That’s a great saw, I have the same one, but I could swear I remember seeing it for $199.00 on a regular basis? But I could be wrong?

They had the Makita priced at $199.00 by me for a bit as well. HD then put a bunch of the saws on the clearance rack for $176.06. I kept my eye open to see what the next drop would be and I snagged the last one. The funny thing is that I couldn’t find it initially and I had to ask an employee if they had any. He said he thought there was one saw left, but if it had dropped to $0.01, he couldn’t sell it to me. luckily for me it was still priced at $58.03
IlliniMember since Aug 2012

Illini, that’s a great saw! Your gonna love it. It has tons of power and great cut speed for a cordless.. did you seriously grab that for $58?!?!? That’s insane

I know, it really was an awesome deal. It makes me wonder if Home Depot knows something about an upcoming 7 1/4 from Makita that we don’t know about.

My lowes has quit stocking those monster ratchets. How many ratchets are you up to now BK? I also bought the HF pro ratchets and they are very good. I have used the 3/8 long flex head on bolts that were well over 100 ft-lbs and it didn’t skip a beat. The handles have held up well too.

the saw is 199 at my local HD

I honestly have no idea. And if you want to call that some sort of a self defense mechanism, I wouldn’t disagree…

i went today to my local HD; trying to find some more strawberry plants for my garden.

they were all out. then i went inside and just walked thru the tool isle and saw the spindle/belt sander for $50.

2 days ago it was at $150 and i was kinda thinking about buying it.

i immediately called someone out and told him i want that 😀

he also started to look for the display box but he couldnt find it, so it came how it is.

half of the on-button is missing, all of the spindle sandpapers.

atm i can use it as a belt sander….i gonna try to call ridgid if they can send me the missing parts or so.

i also left my phone number at the store, in case of they gonna find the box, due to the HD guy.

Ordered this last week. Our other polisher had the bearing seize up. It was a cheap one. This should last quite a bit longer.

I hope so! Made in Germany. Designed for wet polishing. We will use it for polishing our cast concrete surfaces and occasional granite edge polishing.

Mi have always heard that Flex makes quality tools,

overanalyzeMember since Oct 2011

My partner used it today to polish a granite top edge that we had to cut down. Worked great. He said it was a tad on the heavy side but smooth to operate. I will get some time on it this weekend.

I dunno. I bought it to cut a trailer hitch receiver lock off of the GF’s Expedition, then realized that might be a bit more than my M12 (non-Fuel) Hackzall can handle… anyway, I put off doing anything with it for now.

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Cmon BK! Give the recip a workout!

Nice score MM.  I downloaded the manual from the Ridgid site and it has the parts list in it so you can check and see what is missing.
