haha thats a good one.

but its the ROS65VCL – bought it from HD with store credit….just had to wait a few weeks until they got it back in stack and shipped.

the only problem i have is the styrofoam or what that is; where the tool sits in is chipped off on 2 spots…but ill take care of that soon.

and here another new toy.

my miter saw model doesn’t come with a laser – i thought lets give a try since i have the fancy miter saw stand.

the european model has a laser – no clue why they removed it for the us model.

so i bought this nice piece of jewelry for the saw. it actually replaces the washer from the saw blade, just have to switch it out.

it turns on as soon as the blade rotates.

Because in america someone could put there head under the saw when its on and stare at the laser to long and damage there vision and lawsuits could happen.

shit sam – too late….why you didnt tell me that earlier that its bad to stare in that laser.

i installed the laser washer, turned the saw on that the laser gets activated and put my head under the running blade to check if the laser really works. now i have that red dot in my eye and its not going away, like if you looked in the sun. kinda burning too….

ill check the laser tmw with the other eye, i guess my eye sight wasnt so good.

Samuel L.Member since Sep 2014

Can you put one on each side?

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

no just left side, it actually replaces the washer – they already removed the washer from the shaft….ill take a picture tmw when i install it

comp56Member since Sep 2014

when I was going thru medical school they said while preforming brain surgery only treat laser as a guide……

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

Nice!! MM looks really accurate bro!

NERemodelingMember since Aug 2014

Nice little video madman!! I’m digging the soundtrack 🙂

That seems like a great laser.. it should stay very consistent and accurate even with different kerf blades since it mounts right to the blade.. I would imagine this could be used on other brand saws also..

overanalyzeMember since Oct 2011

Cool laser! Can you put one on each side? Does it have any adjustment?

thanks John 😛 ya radio in the background haha

right, its mounted right against the blade on the shaft…ill add some pics from the install.

it can fit to other brands, just when they have that notch in the arbor…you’ll see in the pictures.

overanalyze wrote:
