My new box and router. Oh and I got a particular Sawzall from a member. I have to take a quick pic but thank you Regopit and Mike!

BK13Member since Nov 2013

Outside of having a disturbing amount of yellow and not enough red and blue, very nice, Chris!

Nice “toys” Chris!! I see you have the little OmniSquare too. That’s a handy little square.

comp56Member since Sep 2014

I get excited over new flat washers, cause I know I will use some kind of tool with them…..

I’m really liking that square a lot and not a bad price. Love the positive locks on it and the fact that it’s made here in the USA

Yeah I found it by accident one day on the web and ordered one. I did a thread about it on BTP and a bunch of guys ordered one. It seems well built and accurate enough for what I use it for.

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Well Andrew that is why I bought it 🙂 it was a great review!

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

the omnisquare looks pretty cool, i just watched it on youtube and i have to say – i need one now….

how much you guys paid for it?

overanalyzeMember since Oct 2011

I think it was $25 with shipping if I remember correctly.

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

$24.95 via PayPal and the guy shipped super quick. And the posi stops on the angles are freakin’ awesome.

Poisonfangs85Member since Feb 2015

Damn you guys my wish list cannot keep up with all this stuff!

Stopped by a local tool supply yesterday and picked up the Makita multi tool, was actually a little cheaper than the depot sells it for. Wanted to buy Makitas new cut out tool as well but they didn’t have it I stock. On the way home stopped at the Depot and grabbed Dewalts multi level workshop.

MM, let us know how that sander works, I saw it at Lowes also and was tempted to pick it up as well

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

Nice! I remeber you telling me bout this, how much u spend on it?

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

Its just 35 bucks. Not much more as a regular hand sander

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Madman, does that take half sheets of paper? Am I correct I assuming it’s non powered so basically you hand sand with the vac attached?

Poisonfangs85Member since Feb 2015

MM those work pretty well. We use these for hospital work. We attach them to a 5 gal bucket dust separator with water in it. I think we got the separators from HD.

1/3 sheet sand paper, but to me it looks like the normal size for every hand sander…

right its not powered buy electric – just pure man power 😛 the vacuum attachment helps with the dust…that was my most important concern. because when i did the rest of the house 2y ago….i sanded the ceiling with a normal hand sander and the dust was all over me.

i really wanna see how that thing works out.

Thanks Madman! Looks like a really cool unit that’s going to keep you clean! Not to mention the lack of dust everywhere, your wife will love you!

All look like good buys! Really like the clamps, somehow they are something that I don’t own much of.

Nothing major, another adjustable wrench, and a Milwaukee locking pliers:

Nice buys BK!
ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

How do you like those Milwaukee locking pliers?

Poisonfangs85Member since Feb 2015

Yeah Mike first impressions of the pliers? I have been meaning to get some of the c clamp style for metal framing.

BK13Member since Nov 2013

I have no experience with the C-clamp style (but me 5 year old REALLY wants some every time we go in HD) but I probably have 6-9 of the regular models in various sizes. Compared to new, PRC-made Irwins, they are much better made, without the seemingly automatic unlocking that I sometimes get from new Irwins, better finished with kind of a matte surface finish, and a lot less slop in the pivots. I haven’t really beaten on them much, but I have no fear they will hold up well. The adjusting screw with the screwdriver hole seems like a cool feature, but as of now I haven’t needed to make use of it.

I like ’em.

BK13Member since Nov 2013

Wow. “Me 5 year old”. Talk like a pirate day is Sept. 19th, idiot. Doh!

Those Torque Locks look real nice
