hahaah yes indeed it does! It’s so cool when you see it in action, very ingenious design, gives very good control driving a screw in a little deeper if you need it

JronmanMember since May 2016

Easier one:

How many right angle cordless drills does Milwaukee have in the M18 line?

dwainMember since Aug 2013

4? Impact, drill, hawg and super-hawg?

Conductor562Member since Nov 2011

5 if you count the impact wrench

JronmanMember since May 2016

actually the hawgs count for 4 if you count the jaw chuck vs quick release chuck variants then you got the standard drill. If you count impact drivers and impact wrenches there would be 2 more. I guess my answer is 7 if you count them all. You could technically count any drill if you add a right angle attachment to it.

Only counting drills.

The super hawg Keyed chuck, the super hawg QuikLok. The Hole Hawg keyed chuck, the hole Hawg QuickLok. And the M18 right angle drill…

5 total in this case

@Jronman would technically be correct with your first sentance…

Add FEIN to that list, and I think it’s right.

Makita used to make a 3 speed, but don’t anymore.

skippy_chippyMember since Jul 2015

Ryobi also used to have a 3 speed drill…back when they were blue.

JronmanMember since May 2016

Dewalt, Hilti, Festool, Metabo, Fein, Makita, Ryobi

I would say the most popular tool brands for trades people around the world are probably the following (no order): milwaukee, dewalt, makita, bosch, hitachi, metabo, ridgid/aeg, ryobi, hilti, porter cable (US).

Of these, which do NOT make a dedicated 18v sander of some type. I am EXCLUDING multi-tools and polishers from this question.

They released it a couple years ago in Europe IIRC, but not sure about The States. Hell, it may not have ever made it here.

JronmanMember since May 2016

metabo has a belt grinder sander thingy like ingersol rand so I would remove metabo from the list.

dwainMember since Aug 2013

So what’s your answer Jronman?

JronmanMember since May 2016

@dwain Milwaukee, DeWALT, Hitachi, Hilti

Name 3 companies that use batteries other than their own. Must include one of each: Milwaukee M18 battery, DeWALT 20v max battery, 18v Makita battery. Cannot be a rebranded compatible battery ex. Mac batteries powered by DeWALT
