Why We Like It
Gas snow blowers still reign supreme for second-stage snow blowers. Electric models are getting better, but gas models tend to be cheaper and there’s a wide variety. However, pulling a mower to start is the last thing you want to do in the cold. The electric start allows you to have the power of gas, but some perks of electric.
Also, this has a huge clearing path of 26 in. wide by 20 in. high. The chute has 200-degree rotation, intuitive joystick controls, and 15 in. snow tires and LED headlights improve the user experience. All of this makes the CRAFTSMAN Select 26 one of best snow blowers from this winter season.

This is EGO’s most powerful cordless second-stage snow blower. It has a huge clearing path of 28 in. wide by 21 in. high. It can power through at least eight inches of snow and chucks it up to 60 ft. away.
We also tested this out on a wet, messy snow and it cleared it without clogging the blades or chute. This isn’t just one of the best snow blowers of 2023/2024, this might be the industries best electric second-stage snow blower to date.

With a 30 in. clearing width and 23 in. height this was designed to handle the biggest snow falls. The controls are also designed to be easy to use while wearing gloves. Cub Cadet really thought about when, where, and who would use this snow blower.
Also, this price isn’t much more than some second-stage snow blowers. Now, a third-stage snow blower is a beast. They are huge. However, if you live in high snowfall area and are already considering spending $2,000 on a snow blower, consider what a few hundred dollars more could get you.

This electric snow shovel weighs around 15 lbs. with the battery attached. This is a lot lighter than other electric snow shovels on the market. Which is nice because using an electric snow shovel can tire out your arms.
Not only is it easier to use than other models, it does a great job of clearing snow. Yes, it’s great for walkways and patios, but it can also clean up areas that are hard to get to with a traditional snow blower. For instance, around cars or tires.
