Also, I have the Kapex. It’s amazing. But…..if I didn’t get such a smoking deal on that saw I never would have bought it. I would’ve gone with Dewalt, Bosch or Milwaukee. Maybe the Hitachi. I think that Dewalt 60v you’ve got coming next month is going to be a great miter!
I love the Bosch blades about the only ones I’ll buy, I could check out festool assuming they are t shank??

Another fan of Bosch jigsaw blades. Their progressive cut ones are nice.

Weird the saw is shipping from close to the Festool HQ. I wonder if its brand new or what? I would have though it would have shipping from an Amazon warehouse being a warehouse deal to be honest.
Most distributors here in the US come out of the their hq directly. Whenever I buy from Bob Marino, the tools have always come from their main office and that included the recon tools o have bought.

Just thought it was weird because it was a warehouse deal. I assumed that meant it would come from Amazon. I can see like you mentioned though other times stuff gets drop shipped.
Weird thing about the Festool jigsaw the Systainer was missing the latch and had some light stains on it. All the stains cleaned up with acetone. The jiqsaw looked brand new not even touched once.

Next price is $90 + shipping. You can normally find the 8160 for around $40 but I’m not sure what the difference is other than the grip. Made in Spain, similar to Knipex, I think these might be nicer. These are for precision work, these are larger than “Micro flush cutters.” I just received my order which included another pair that’s no longer available, I wanted to verify the seller before sharing. Great seller, faster than expected and they threw in a free gift…an extra pair of cutters! One last note: These are listed as used and might be used, two of my three pairs were NOT used and the last one was used and had a small nick in the tip of the cutters.
Here’s a size comparison, between 5″ cutters and a 7″ alligator pliers:

Judging by the number of listings someone crashed a forklift with a whole crate of these. The real question is how they come up with these prices.
They’ve had a few for that price for a while, tempting deal

Received this today, it’s fantastic. Very smooth and strips better than the straight jaw auto strippers. The cutter is ok, not great for stranded wire. I don’t imagine there will be any double squeezes like with the Irwin strippers, you do lose your crimper(in comparison to the Irwin’s).
Had anyone *cough @JimboS1ice noticed not a lot of milwaukee stuff used to be available on amazon but sometime in the last month or so a lot showed up at pretty good prices?

I have; The 2407-20 M12 drill for $38(I think), the m18 LED small light(one LED) for $30. M12 Fuel drill/driver kit for $120. Noticed the M18 fan for either $10 or $20 less than retail. I haven’t linked any of it because it seems comparable to eBay pricing, maybe a couple dollars cheaper. There was also a Fuel m18 hammer drill bare tool for a few dollars less than eBay. All of these are Amazon Warehouse, don’t quote me on pricing this was all based on memory.
I don’t know why Milwaukee is back on Amazon they were removed after MKE became exclusive to Home Depot.

Knipex electronics pliers dropped in price again, this time to $12.80: https://www.amazon.com/KNIPEX-37-13-125-Electronics/dp/B005EXO0UY
My favorite use for these is those plastic push in clips(if you can access the backside), you squeeze the pliers and the plastic pin falls out. Also great for inserting wire or bending leads.

Rockwell RK9034 JawStand XP Work Support Stand – 57.39
I have this and gotta say I use it the most out of all my work stands, great for supporting pieces on the miter saw, holding doors, using as a third hand to hold something up!
Not a good deal yet, only about 5 bucks off but this one might be worth keeping on the radar

I’ve been watching that, been that price for about two weeks. The Sunex version of the set is like $50 after the 15% discount they have currently.

Same, you know I’m a Gearwrench fan! I’ve been looking like a hawk trying to find a good deal, I have TWO impact sockets right now…and TWO impact wrenches, haha. I’m just broke after my car issue and some upcoming groomsman expenses. 🙁
Sunex socket sets are on sale on Amazon, as we previously mentioned(15% off) but someone recently found a mail-in-rebate that also applies: http://www.sunextools.com/rebates/Q3_Industrial_flyerForm_2016.pdf
So for example this Sunex 3/8 socket set is $60 – 15% with a mail-in-rebate of $10. https://www.amazon.com/Sunex-3342-8-Inch-Master-42-Piece/dp/B005MVB9Y8/

Made in China but very good quality bits. The nylon pry tools aren’t very good quality but replacements can be had for next to nothing on ebay.
