Thanks for the heads up. Maybe some day….  My favorite 12in these days is the Bora Magnetic combination square.  I found it on sale for around 15.00 and really like it. http://www.boratool.com/bora-12-magnetic-combination-square

Received notice that the $26 (lol) sk hammer set that was ordered back in January has shipped and will be here tomorrow… 😉

Was reviewing my past orders yesterday and clicked on track package three or more times. Not sure if that triggered something in their system, but I am really surprised that they honored that order.

I’ve given up all hope on mine…you ordered after I did too. Amazon’s customer service has been crap lately.

You could always try hitting the track order button a few times…

I’ve hit every button on the page several times. I’d hit the CS rep several times for not understanding what I mean when I ask if there is any update on when my order might ship but they’re on the other side of the Earth.

I guess I spoke too soon, I got shipping notification….but I’ll believe it when I see it.

Ha ha – I just got a notice that I had to update my payment info for the hammer. It was so long ago that my credit card had long since expired / been replaced.

Now phase 2 of the wait begins…

Interesting that it is not actually an SK tool, but produced by Nupla with a couple of cheap stickers with SK written on them.

Nice kit btw. Mine showed up in this afternoons mail as well.

SK does it with screwdrivers(WF, previously Facom), gloves(Mechanix) and pliers(WF) as well. I’m actually quite happy, I like my three other Nupla dead blows a lot.

Killer caster deals to be had! Just go through and find what fits your needs and maybe consider stocking up…these are high end casters at HF prices. I know, I’ve been shopping them for a miter saw stand build I’ve been planning: https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_pg_1?fst=as%3Aoff&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Aalbion+(pack+of+4)%2Cp_85%3A2470955011&sort=price-asc-rank&keywords=albion+(pack+of+4)&ie=UTF8&qid=1500517836

Example of price savings:

I paid $15 for these

https://www.amazon.com/Albion-Diameter-Polypropylene-Institutional-Capacity/dp/B0094LYYA8/

$78.17 at another retailer

http://www.tzsupplies.com/albion-02-series-5-diameter-i3814030/

Pages 3 and 4 are really good deals but more than I need for any project I can think of

I’ve heard less than stellar things about the electrician pliers

They are NOT electrician pliers. They’re a little bit wider and flatter than needle nose pliers which is nice but they can also do the general stripping and crimping jobs. They’re great for the occasional electrical job in your regular tool bag. They weigh a LOT less(maybe 1/3) than Klein Journeyman or the like, which is something you wouldn’t want to carry everyday if you didn’t need them.

Gahdamnit !!! I paid double for that POS flood light… that light is worth ~$70 bucks and should have been that price from the start. They need to get with it on their lighting products. End of rant 🙂

I believe this is the Wera 073661 Kraftform Kompakt 27 RA 2 SB despite the heading. Picture and description should supersede but Amazon’s return policy covers you. $39, less than $1 more than the ratcheting handle without the bits. $55 at KC Tool. https://www.amazon.com/Wera-05073660001-Nut-Drivers/dp/B004CJ8MDW/

Nupla 34030 Black Steel Curved Single End Pry Bar with Solid Nuplaglas Composite Handle, 30-1/2″ Length $20($53 from home depot): https://www.amazon.com/Nupla-34030-Curved-Nuplaglas-Composite/dp/B00890OX92/

I love Nupla hammers, as you can probably tell from two posts up. I haven’t tried one of their pry bars or any composite pry bar but Nupla makes everything in the US and everything I’ve used has been great quality.

Wow that’s cheaper than Irwin.

That ball peen hammer has dropped to $12 too. Think I will grab a couple of those items… My tool budget really is shot this year.

It could be buying old stock from Grainer or another retailer.

I’ve gotten several of the ships in 1 to 2 months items, it doesn’t charge you until it ships.

Makita 18V compact vacuum kit (w/ 2.0 battery)

$99

Teal/Black

or

White

Love this vac. Bought this for my wife since she always steals mine from the garage. One thing I like about these over the Dyson and old Dustbuster style vacs is that it’s very difficult to get caught on a low charge or runtime situation since I have a bunch of batteries.
