I’m a full time carpenter. Work for myself and HAVE to take care of my shit, otherwise I don’t make money.

Few times a year I like to go through all my cordless tools and clean them up, blow all the debris out, lube all the quick locks and chucks, wipe them down etc. just got done doing that this evening.

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

Nice pic Man U have a lot of great tools there!

We have the same philosophy.

I just don’t understand people that trash their tools.

How about the people who just “rattle can” their tools for identification? Common people! We’re professionals ! Think of a better way. I personally use a yellow paint marker and outline certain areas on the tool so i can glance over and make sure it’s mine

Is that multi charger worth the money? Right now I just have two 12/18v chargers and a couple 12v chargers, and have been eyeing that one .

I think it is… Although I think I paid about 140$ for it through one of my suppliers, that made my decision easy.

It charges twice as fast and you can charge 3 at a time. Although it all depends on what your doing with your tools/batteries. On big jobs it helps because I’m using lights, radio, drilling, cutting, impacting etc and although the runtime on all those tools is outstanding I still burn through at least 2 battery’s a tool per day. it’s not uncommon to be using almost all your tools at once.

Seeing people post pictures of their red tools has made me feel not so bad for have the addiction. so i rounded up most of my Milwaukee tools, didn’t drag my hand tools out and forgot to grab my fuel hammer drill( I think the number is 2406). [External image (s1.postimg.org), not copied]

Nice collection my friend..I’ve learned to embrace the addiction and set aside a few bucks a month for new red tools(:

The blocks aren’t the real challenge here, although it still does an effortless job. Its the solid poured foundation walls and brick where it really shines above and beyond the regular hammer/driver drills

You went cordless for your impacts, how do you like the power? I have always felt you needed air power to deliver serious 1/2 drive impact power to the nuts and bolts to break them loose, especially if your dealing with rust. How does those cordless units compare? Have you found a nut or bolt you couldn’t break loose with them?

I haven’t found a bolt yet that the 1/2 can’t take off. This thing doesn’t even break a sweat with lug nuts. I compared it to the newest snap on 18v impact in a thread farther down and it blew it out of the water. I haven’t used the 3/8 yet so I can’t tell you how it does.

Thanks for the information, glad to see that the 1/2 is performing just like its pneumatic counterpart! I am really amazed how far cordless technology has come, I remember the days when you could stop a cordless drill from just holding the chuck, now if you do that, prepare to have burns in your skin lol. Ya, I wouldn’t expect too much from the 3/8, those are for light duty work, around the engine kind of stuff. A lot of people don’t know that there are sizes above 1/2, like the 5/8 drive and 1 inch drive. Those are industrial impacts made to remove 2 inch bolts or larger, there not typically seen within the consumer market, and mechanics usually only have to use them if they are removing large bolts and nuts off of big rigs or big tractors. 🙂

You can get th Milwaukee in a 3/4″
