Why Dewalt Makes the Perfect Gift
I have owned this sander for a long time. I owned the first and second generation of the Dewalt sander as that is how much I love and trust this sander. While it does an okay job at dust collection, I have never found a sander that blows me away with dust collection. The good news, this will hook up to a dust collection system and offer a much better dust collection.
While this doesn’t stand out for dust collection, it stands out for build quality, ease of use, and performance. I love how the top handle contours to my palm so I never get tired as I have with other sanders. Even when using this for long periods of time, it never gets hot as I have seen with other sanders.
Final Thoughts
Bottom line, I know there are a lot of sanders on the market. While the Festool is one of the top, it also comes at a hefty price. For the price and quality, the Dewalt is the top dog and makes a great Christmas gift.
