Milwaukee Fuel Jig Saw Review

I have been using the Milwaukee Jig Saw for a while on my house project, well not this exact saw since I lent it out and never got it back but I have been using this model.  I have to say, this saw has come in so handy for so many projects on my remodel.  I have used it to cut wholes where I need to run a pipe through the floor and other mechanical piping such as waste pipes and more.  So let’s jump into the Milwaukee Fuel Jig Saw Review and see what I like and don’t like about this saw.

Milwaukee Fuel Jig Saw Review Overview

A Jig Saw is one of those tools you don’t always use but when you need to make any cut, other than a straight cut, the Jig Saw can make your life so much easier.

Every since 1947, contractors and homeowners have found this tool to be a time saver and a tool that makes work easier.  Back in the day, Jig Saws were corded and you need an outlet.  Today, Milwaukee has created a tool that is much more powerful than the original tool, plus lighter and no corded needed.  So what does this tool offer to the user?

Milwaukee Fuel Jig Saw Review Performance

We have used this for so many different applications such as Beadboard for the ceiling on the porch.  We used it to cut around a vent.  The wood isn’t very thick so it easily cuts through and it is easy to follow a line, even a circle.

This piece was just more fun to cut and no real reason except to show you it will cut through thick wood and you can easily maneuver around various lines.

This is one of those tools that performs like a champ.  You buy this tool expecting it to have good run time, easy to use and built to last, which this tool excels at all three areas.

Milwaukee Fuel Jig Saw Review Value

You can pick this Jig Saw up for about $199 at The Home Depot for a bare tool.  If you want the kit that comes with a battery, it will run you about $299.

Overall, I think this is a fair price.  The tool is powerful, easy to work with and a solid tool.  So considering all this along with the ergonomics, it’s a good buy and a fair price.

Milwaukee Fuel Jig Saw Review Final Thoughts

Overall, I love this Jig Saw.  I love how easy it is to work with and the power.  I can cut through decking to run pipes, I can use it on my soffits and more without any issues.  Considering Milwaukee has a large line of tools in their 18V platform, it’s should be on your list to buy if you are looking for a Jig Saw.
