Eric is a huge Cubs fan and yes, he will talk about the 2016 World Series unprompted. When he's not explaining why he's the only person who should be allowed to drive, he's spending time with his wife and two children who tolerate his dad jokes with impressive patience.
Well you have provided JUST ABOUT everything a person would want to know about this stud finder
accept a link to their web site.
Good Point – Franklin Sensors
So that would be http://www.franklinsensors.com correct?
Correct. Currently they only have this sensor.
Eric always forgets that! lol Nice article, I love that Stud Sensor.
Does anyone know if Sears/Craftsman use Empire Manufacturing to make some of the hand tools?
Maybe for some levels
Have sensor, malfunctioned once, but Franklin sensors sent me a new one right away, so not only is the product great the customer service too!!!
Besides detecting wood studs, will it detect live electrical wires too? I have a zircon e50 and am seriously considering switching to this franklin model but I need it to detect live electrical wires.
It does not detect voltage :{
Will it work through the back of a cabinet to find a stud?
Make a video!
That depends on the thickness of the cabinet.
I have this same detector. Works great!
i am thinking that this would be the detector to get… still debating though
Will this stud finder work if the wall has any texture like orange peel?
It should yes!
How does this Franklin Prosensor 710 compare to the Zircon i520 or i700? I own the latter, but am always interested in upgrading tools for better performance.
I don’t have any experience with the Zircon. The franklin is a real easy unit to operate and does a good in my opinion.
Has anyone tried the prosensor 710 on knockdown textured walls? How does it perform?
I haven’t found a single stud sensor that plays well on knockdown’d walls.
I want one now. Thanks for the info.
Hi
