I heard from a good friend that not your fathers root beer is dangerous! Like root beer, you just can’t have one!
I’m ready to make a root beer float out of it! Definitely goes down a little too easy!ChrisK1970 wrote:

Main drink for me is Guinness, but I do like imported Heineken. The normal Heineken is just piss in a can.
rootbeer float. I am in.kruton wrote:

Supa cold
I don’t drink beer anymore for a few reasons and I never really was into all those fancy beers I thought beer was beer. But really anything thing that was ice cold will do, I thought I would lose a few pounds if I stop drinking but I didn’t.lol
I like a variety…IPA’s have grown on me. Also love a good stout. We just had a microbrew start up in my area and they make some really good beers. I have brought home a few growlers from them.
That is one thing I have not been able to get in and that’s the IPA’S. Just not my cup of tea I guess.overanalyze wrote:

Nothing too fancy. I used to try something new regularly to broaden my horizons a bit but lately if I’m popping a top after a long day it’s usually a Coors Banquet or Coors Light. Sleemans Honey Brown is great but if you have more than one it feels a bit heavy.
Granville Island out of Vancouver has some great selections that I’ll pick up once in a while as well.
Lately I’ve been drinking on Samuel Adams Cherry wheat. And Flat tire. Cherry wheat is always sold out way to fast
You know what I really like Sam Adams cherry wheat but all of my buddies make fun of me. I’m not sure why, if it tastes good who cares.bddhome wrote:

Yeah they apparently think since it is cherry it’s too “girly”. I think I just need new friends!bddhome wrote:

We make RB float several times a week, good stuff
And a Corona with lime wedge is also good every now and then

Anybody ever try Abita, the Louisianna brew? Stuff is nectar made into beer. Its delicious!
In the winter I usually drink a porter, I like dark beers in the winter. In the summer I drink something like Sam Adams summer seasonal brew. In the summer I go for light and refreshing. In the winter it’s dark and robust. IPA’s are for people who stuff as much flavor into a bottle/can and don’t care what that flavor tastes like.
This gives me a new list of root beers to try. One of my favorites is XXX root beer. There is a diner that was actually on the Diners, Drive-ins and Dives show called XXX. It’s on the campus at Purdue University and they have one of the greatest root beers ever, plus a cheeseburger with peanut butter. Good stuff.jbw55 wrote:

Lol
I turned 45 this past week. I was at a Panera and my friend Kelsey gave me a pastry for my birthday. I said…..well, turning 45 has its privileges! A really cute girl looked at me and said…..your 45? You look really good!
That got me through the week, because it was a sucky week. Then, after hours on the basement floor working on my shop Reno, my 45 year old back is absolutely killing me. So ladies and gents, from my post to yours, here is the greatest brew on Earth (in my New England opinion)…. And the message….well, it’s kind of self explanatory…..;)
I’ve not had that before, but that glass is great. Rocking the Milwaukee opener too.ChrisK1970 wrote:
