I received the offer in an email……I just added both to the cart and the 4.0 battery is $0.00 in cart

Appears that there is no limit …..I put 3 blowers in cart and would have received 3 batteries if I would have finished the checkout

Alright guys so I got to finally try this Bebe out an I gotta say I’m pretty happy with it I was able to get a little over 27 min running it off and on I would only let the trigger go for mayby a few steps only, I was able to blow out my garage an the front yard on one bar which was impressive then I headed to the back yard where my avocado and orange trees are.the orange trees don’t drop nearly as much trash as my avocado tree does plus it’s dropping a lot of little baby avocados right now I thought the blower was gonna have a lil trouble moving those around but didn’t of course my craftsman blower has wider and stronger air flow being that it’s a gas blower. my wrist and shoulder didn’t feel a bit of soreness at all very easy to maneuver light weight and the grip feels great in my hand the only thing that bugged me was my shirt or shorts getting sucked in through the back as it got close to me but not a deal breaker. This is a great blower for my size yard I’m very impressed guys! Next on the list the 20v weed trimmer :}

your wife is awesome man – that she just surprised you with a blow ehm blower 😛

just gimme 80 for the battery….that will cover item, duty and s/h.

i wait a few more month before i buy a blower. first i wanna wait for the Bosch Blower, it hits the market in fall 2015 in germany. i wanna know how much they want for it and if i go with that blower, i can also get a different cordless 36V tool.

maybe a cordless circular saw or something like that.

Picked up the trimmer last weekend.  Does its job.

I’ve an acre of land to deal with, so I have to pick-up a couple extra 3AH batteries.

After years and years and years and years of rockin’ corded trimmers, I’ve finally seen the light.

NOW, I’m trying to stop myself from dropping ANOTHER $200 on the blower….and my willpower is severely lacking…

I’ve had my 20v blower for a few months now.  I use it for blowing out my workshop.   It works great for that.  I used to use my gas blower and it was heavy, smelly and would cut out when I pointed it up to the ceiling to get the cobwebs.   The new electric blower is much handier.  I find I use it much more and also use compressed air a lot less.

The only problem I have found is that sometimes the intake will suck my shirt up to it and restrict the flow.  This might be because of a larger belly causes the shirt to hang closer to the blower.  Maybe you skinny folks wont have this problem.

anyone has a review on the 40v blower, as much as i don’t want another battery platform it sounds like a decent deal with the free 2nd 4.0ah battery.

was originally looking into the 20v blower since i have a handful of 20v batteries.

also looks like amazon has the same free battery deal too.

Dan in one of there videos says he recommends the 20v over the 40v and I trust that man 😉 I have the 20v used it today again and love it it does a good job!

I picked one up at lowes yesterday. I’m really liking it. I like it better than the ego. I’m going to start a new topic over in the OPE section.

I had got rid of all my DeWalt 20v tools and batteries a while back. I sure wish I could use the 10-15 Milwaukee batteries I have on it.

I agree. That was the biggest hang up about me getting this blower.

I got to thinking about it and I wouldn’t be adding a battery platform. Just changing from EGO to Dewalt.

i wait for Bosch’s blower in fall. ok first it will just get release in germany but i have connections over there 😀

. C Harris that blower is awesome and congrats I love mine man I use is about twice a week my grass has been growing crazy with the humid weather we’ve been having over here and the blower works amazing for being a 20v/18v

Thanks. I’m impressed with it. It’s not a substitute for my gas blower but it has really good power.

I’ve been surprised just how much I use a cordless blower. I have a lot and a half covered with large hardwood trees. I’m constantly blowing leaves off the driveway. My dog slings mulch out on the concrete. It’s nice to be able to just grab up the blower and blow it off.

I started a thread here with my thoughts on the Dewalt 20v vs the EGO.

how long does the battery lasts ?

For the 20V with 5ah battery I get about 20-25 minutes when I use it on full power. The blower is great but don’t expect it to get every leaf in your yard or when grass is stuck to concrete. I really wish they would add an attachment that creates a smaller exit. I think it would create a bit more force for those stubborn leaves even if it lowers the CFM. I chose this over the basic stihl model to go along with my trimmer but didn’t want to mess around with a gas engine when its -5f.

That and its a seasonal item. Stores don’t want inventory linger anymore like they used to.

Think we’ll see a similar price drop on the string trimmer? Lawn tools are utilized 10 months out of the year in TX.

I bought my blower from them a month ago and it was $179 then too. the trimmer and the 40 V were regular price btw.

I need to get the bare tool on this one, already have enough batteries

The.HandymanMember since Aug 2015

My Lowes in Jacksonville, FL has the about 8 20v string trimmers priced at $179 and 1 blower left at the same price. I am hoping for a labor day discount coupon to drop the price more before I snag both.

The.HandymanMember since Aug 2015

Picked up the large 20v blower kit from Lowes for $179 – 10% discount coupon – $10 off $50 coupon. What a steal. I sold the charger for $30 as I had plenty. I love this full size blower, so convenient and great at cleaning sawdust off my tools before I pack them away.
