ya i seen that too. its a pre-order, even for the new 40V blower line.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

The cfm is pretty amazing on it for a 18v tool

Gatorb888Member since Nov 2013

US should expect 40v in March, 20v in May.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

Is Dewalt going to offer more garden type tools on the 20v platform? You probably can’t say yes or no anyways 🙂

JoshMurrahMember since Nov 2014

I pre-ordered the 20v, but I am hoping there’s a few more tools coming in 20v, mainly a hedge trimmer.  Edger would be nice too since the trimmer head doesn’t pivot like the other electric trimmers I’ve used.

Most pro string trimmers don’t have the handy pivot feature for some reason. I would like to have it the ergonomics would be better. I’m curious to see if Dewalt does more 20v yard tools.

Why does dewalt always shroud itself in secrecy when it comes to releasing new stuff?

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

Damn the 20v one isn’t coming out till July and the 40v is out now

chadlanthierMember since Mar 2013

Is it just me or does that guy in the photo look like a serial killer u would see in a horror movie

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

at least you have time to safe some money for the 20v blower 😛

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

True MM. Did u buy anything today?

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

ya just a router bit for $2 – originally $17

and another bosch PB180 radio….ill explain that in my main bosch PB180 thread, which i opened someday

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

Man can the monthes go any faster

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

haha – how many batteries you got to run the blower ?!

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

Man I don’t even know MM but I know I have over atleast 10of them

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

ugh thats quite a lot… i am at 4x 2.0ah and 2x 4.0ah batteries (one 4.0 will be delivered someday next week.)

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

Nice! UR selling those though right? Or are you coming to the brighter/yellow side

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

no im talking about Bosch batteries 😛

the dewalt are already here….the store just forgot to give me my free 4.0ah battery + charger. called them on saturday and they send it out on the same day – really quick. i think i get it Mon, Tue or Wed.

yeah im selling the dewalt batteries, 2x 5.0ah batteries. i will drop the price real low that they go quick. or do you want them?!

will definitely come in handy for your blower in the next months.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

The Dewalt batteries would be tempting but A I don’t have a charger and B it would only be to get the future nailers and a few tools I don’t see Milwaukee ever offering.

Thanks MM but I think I’m good on Dewalt batteries right now I’m really looking for some milwaukee XC and 4.0’s at the moment.how much you selling them for anyway so I could let my bro know he’s in the dewalt line 2.
Hugh JassMember since Feb 2015

Hey guys, this thing seems to be in stock at CPO. I bought one on Amazon through them and there’s 4 left in stock, act fast for what I consider the best deal in Dewalt for as long as I’ve been in the market. Essentially a free tool and you’re paying for a 5ah and charger.

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

Was browsing the HD sight since I got some gift cards today for my BDay!!! And ran across this one can’t wait till changes to in stock so I can spend them here on this blower :}

PeteWMember since Aug 2014

thats awesome its at HD. i kinda like the look of the 20v blower better then the 40v blower,

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

mike you kinda hooked me up to thsi blower too since bosch is not releasing their blower in the states for a while.

and i already have 2x 5ah batteries….i think with a total of 3 batteries i can clear my hole property haha

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

Alex U want this blower, u need this blower U got got got have this blower!! Lol! That would be awesome if it was out for Memorial Day.

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

Anyone that’s thinking about buying this blower Amazon is taking off $20 bucks if u spend over $100 and this blower is included in the deal, I think that’s awesome of them to allow this tool in being that it’s so new

NicholasShetleyMember since Nov 2013

Are you going to get it Mike?

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

You all need to look in to the 40 volt. I picked one up a Lowes for $250 after using a $50 off promo code and Lowes was offering a free extra battery with rebate

When and how did you get this deal? My Lowes hasn’t had any sales on 40V equipment, nor have there been any online.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

They had a rebate deal awhile ago and there was online codes you could use to get $50 off $250 at lowes its all expired now.

madman_usMember since Sep 2014

yeah the 40v kit was a great deal on amazon.com with the free battery. but i dont wanna go with another battery platform.

I think you’ve seen my post but I’ve had it for a few weeks now, works pretty good and has pretty decent performance. I love the variable speed and the light weight the most out of the unit. My purpose for it is cleaning my tools at the end of the day, table saw, SCMS, inside the tool trailer, and the jobsite when I’m finished I just blow all the dust away. For this it is perfect, but if you’re interested in cleaning up the back 40 with this forget it, stick to a backpack gas unit for the big projects.

It’s already on sale even cheaper at Amazon right now, $180.49 gets you the whole shabang, which is pretty much the tool for free.

10 left in stock right now.

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

Thanks Hugh I aporiciate it man! I saw that Amazon had it for that price which is a damn good price but was hoping to buy off of HD cus I got some gift cards for there I wonder if HD will match Amazon price if they do I will only be paying like $80ish out pocket which would be great! I just haven’t had the time to go by there and ask:/

DR99Member since Nov 2012

I think Dewalt didn’t expect these to take so long to get in stock. I will say I wish Milwaukee had M18 OPE though. I don’t need crazy tools for my Lawn to be honest.

Mr. YellowMember since Jan 2011

I saw a different 20v model in one the pictures from the DeWALT Event. I’ll look it up…

Edit: this one… (in the back shelf)

[External image (cl.ly), not copied]

It’s different from the 20V Max (and 40V Max) blowers.

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

nice eye Mr. Yellow!  almost looks like the Milwaukee blower..but hey ille take one in yellow 😉

Charles HarrisMember since Apr 2015

I’m really curious how this will compare to the ego w/ 2ah battery.

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

I saw that compact blower from the pic Mr.Yellow put up on Stuart’s sight today I wonder how it compares to milwaukees blower

77Ford01Member since May 2015

Tool Barn is offering a free battery when you buy the 40 volt Blower W/6 amp battery for $369
