The 2864 Milwaukee Impact Wrench has up to 1500 ft-lbs of nut-busting torque and 1200 ft-lbs of fastening torque with its brushless motor. While you might think a wrench this powerful needs a huge footprint, that is not the case. The wrench is only 8.59″ long and weighs in at 6.3 lbs.
The tool is equipt with Milwaukee’s One-Key. One-Key is a system that lets the user customize and control their tools. A user can tap into an app and easily customize and set up the tool for speed, torque, and tracking.

Milwaukee M18 Impact Wrench Review Performance
I am not in the business of using 3/4″ sockets. In fact, I don’t even own any. However, we do know one guy who this tool is made for, Bode from Bode Tree Care.
We gave him this impact wrench and told him to use it in his daily work. Bode has a ton of machines, trucks and other stuff that require high torque tools to remove and fasten bolts. One of his biggest things is his tumbler which takes tree trunks and turns them to mulch. These use carbide bits that need to be changed. In the past, he would always have to drive a truck out to the tumbler and get the air hose out. Now with this, the wrench was powerful enough to remove the bolts.
I could go on and on about all the work he has done with this wrench but take a look at our Instagram and see for yourself. He has used it on his trucks and more. For him, the freedom was a game changer. He no longer had to worry about taking an air hose on top of the tumbler or hauling around a compressor.
Milwaukee M18 Impact Wrench Review Value
You can pick this up at The Home Depot for about $530. That is for the full kit 2864-22 which is the tool and two M18 batteries. I know that sounds like a lot of money, but for someone who wants to lose the air hose and not lose the power, this is well worth the cost.
Milwaukee M18 Impact Wrench Review Final Thoughts
All in all, this is a great impact wrench. It’s powerful enough to leave the air hose behind. Strong enough to remove stubborn nuts and bolts and built like a tank to last a lifetime. While it’s more money than your average cordless impact wrench, this is a tool you can rely on for daily heavy-duty use.
Can’t beat Milwaukee, dropped one in water twice and didn’t phase it. Tough as nails.
Wow what a tool. The other day I could not bust loose the lug nuts looks on my pick up truck with a 4 way tire iron. I used this tool and it took it off like the nuts like they were already loose. Amazing
