As of this writing the Husqvarna 580BTS backpack blower is the most powerful backpack blower on the market. The 75.6 cc 4.3 hp X-Torq engine puts out 1024.5 cfm. The unit weighs just shy of 27 lbs. For its size and power it is surprisingly ergonomic. The handle can be adjusted to multiple positions and has a cruise control feature.
As with all Husqvarna products we have tested it starts within the first 2 pulls every time. Maintenance is a snap and everything is easily accessible. This unit is designed for the landscape pro. For blowing out flower beds it is more than ample. The first time I used it on full power, the bed looked like a tornado hit it. It was bare down to the dirt, everything was gone. With this unit you for sure want to dial the power down in certain situations. We also found the that blower worked well in clearing light fluffy snow. Need a little less power?
