So, I decided to show my Gearwrench tools. Maybe just to show off, maybe to tease Jimbo with the socket bit set. You guys have seen most of them in photos or video, but I figured a dedicated video would be nice.
Enjoy!!
Yes!! Gearwrench porn!!!

Portrait mode?? Really? My eyes are hurting….
But very nice, organized sets, I should really take a page out of your book!
You must be getting old, my eyes didn’t hurt at all. But yes, I wasn’t thinking until after I was watching it on the computer. Did the same thing to a Ryobi vid too…
I will take it on a date, great collection Kato! Thanks for the video dude!

You’re welcome.

I do notice I can’t see things up close as well as I used to, have to hold things a little further away.
But I shouldn’t complain, you took the time to make a video, while I didn’t even lift a finger…..

Nah, I know better, just wasn’t thinking at all…I thought about re-shooting but said “screw it”…they were already done and the orientation isn’t that big of a deal when you’re looking at those pretty tools…

I e done that a few times where it doesn’t rotate but thank god I can rotate it when I edit.
Nice bro,Im a big Gearwrench fan myself.
You have Gearwrench tools?

I dunno why I was expecting you to sound like the butler in a couple of Peter Sellers movies… LOL
Nice tools, man. I have a few GW items and will undoubtedly get more.
But, yeah, landscape mode. Us old farts need all the screen real estate we can get. And watch your background music. That second song nearly had me slashing my own wrists. (kidding, kidding!)

Dammit, you’re going to make me go back out to the garage?
My music tastes have a very broad range. Whatever was playing was just what comes out of my Zune, I leave it on random and let it fly. I have such a wild assortment of genre that it’s almost impossible to pin down what my favorites are…

Yup
Allright, ya harsh taskmaster, here’s my meager selection:

1/4″ chrome MM, standard 12 point and deep 6 point, 3/8″ MM impact sockets, 3/8″ standard XP120 ratchet, and some non-reversible SAE wrenches.
I still want to get a few more XP120 ratchets, and I hope that GW will introduce a bent-flex handle in the XP120 line (otherwise, I guess I’ll have to buy the 84 tooth version+. I want to get the two 3/8″ drive sets of the pinless universal impact sockets (unless SK finally introduces their upcoming set before I buy) I’d like to get all four sets of the semi-deep chrome sockets (1/4″ 3/8″ MM SAE). I’d like to pick up a few more ratcheting wrench sets (reversible, probably, and some Gearbox sets).
Ooooh, Gearwrench…yummy…
I’m a big Gearwrench fan lately. I think they offer the best value for your money when it comes to hand tools at the moment. Especially for a guy that wrenches on stuff occasionally you need to be budget conscious.
Sweet video Kato I don’t have much of GW but when I get home I’ll snap a pic, thanks for video bro!
I’m a big fan of GW, they make great tools at really reasonable prices.
Nice GearWrench collection Kato. I have my eye on the pass through set and tap&die set too. Thanks for sharing with the crew.
Thats one sweet sweet set you got. Man I would drool over them as well. Now to amazon looking for that bit set.

It’s a fantastic kit too, very nice ratcheting drivers. The little adapter under the yellow handle allows you to either attach two of the extensions or use a 1/4″ ratchet extension so you can use these with a typical ratchet.
There are a few different kits of the Geardriver but I think this is the only one with the blue handle, almost all of them are black/red.
Some photos of the bit set…

Beautiful pictures and they really would have driven me to buy some!! Next on the gear wrench list is the flex ratchets.
You want some photos of the flex ratchet, maybe some outdoors stuff, or some boudoir…sexy lingerie and fishnets, or men’s button-down and nothing else??
I have the 20 pic set of ratcheting wrenches that I use all the time without an issue. I have some of the 90 degree bent wrenches at home but they are craftsman but I’m almost positive they are the same as a gear wrench. I scored the 90 degree ratcheting ones on sale for a hare over 40. My ratcheting wrenches are in the bottom left and top right of the drawer with the Wera screwdrivers. Guess which Wera gets used the most lol
Great pictures Kato!!!
I had replace a coil pack in my Expo, so I figured to drop in a new plug. For the life of me, I have no idea what happened to the ones I already have… the joys of working out of storage totes. So I bought this bad boy.

When you use Photobucket to post images, just copy the IMG code and paste it into your post.
Nice little socket! I like the rubber band for hand twisting
Thanks, Kato. I was posting from my phone but was a touch distracted.
BMack, it’s actually steel, just a rough finish, maybe Parkerizing. Still easy to get a hold of. And the knurling helps a bunch too.

Even better, so you don’t have to worry about it tearing!
I want the bolstered screwdriver set and my snap on guy has a used set kinda dirty but tips are good and will clean up. How are they anyone got a set they seemed nice as a German set quality wise. Also there’s a 3/8,1/4 socket set at pawn shop for $50 obo I can get for 25-30 since I’m a regular customer, how are they? I only got a 3/8 84t ratchet but love it and a couple flex wrenches. I hear a lot of good about them and I’m interested in them as I see good top notch quality.

I have the Gearwrench screwdriver set, it’s ok but not great. I think the Weras are a better buy, either the Chiseldrivers or the hex bolster green set.
The ratchet sets are very good, if it’s the same sets I have the 1/4″ is 120xp but the 3/8″ is 84T. They are part of a BOGO offer that’s been as low as $85 but regularly around $100. Definitely worth $30!
