Now if only they’d come out with modular stacking storage, is likely spent two whole paychecks…
I saw it in stock at my HD earlier this week marked at $598.
They didn’t have the work bench at my local HD, but they did have the smaller chest and it looks like they dropped the price on the bigger chest kit by $100.
I think it was originally $700 for the pair, now it’s down to $600.
They had about 8 of them still in the box today

Saw the smaller one at my local home depot. $599
Went to HD yesterday and today and still didn’t find any at mine 🙁
4 of the 5 HD’s I stopped at on Saturday had them all assembled out on the floor. Each store had 4 of them in stock.
I agree, it is cool but a bench is something i would rather build and incorporate tool boxes into it

How do you mean?

I think he means building a bench around a tool box rather than buying a tool box with a bench top, something like what Comp made.
I tend to agree because you can tailor your workspace and storage to fit your needs better. For example, I’d prefer a bench that was longer and deeper than what you have here. This is also not ideal to mount a large vice and the pegboard could be taller.

Bmack hit it on the head, this way depending on your drawer needs you can get deep or shallow, customize shelving, racks…. And you get the satisfaction on making your own bench!
