I found this pretty interesting, keep in mind that the Hilti is NOT a brushless model.
I assumed that Milwaukee would have been number #2, go go Makita!
Pound for pound, the Ridgid seems the hands down value leader.

I accidentally posted this in the Hilti section, sorry for the double post!

It’s a lot of reading and graphs, both times I looked at this thread I didn’t have the time to read through it.
They did a very fair comparison, nice to see they included a broad price range rather that just the top 3-4.

The more I learn about Ridgid/AES, the more impressed I am. They seem to be exceptional tools for the money.

Where is everyone? I would have thought this would start a great discussion!

Old news, I guess, I remember reading it couple months ago…. Makita did make quite the impressive show. Hilti drill gave the best performance it looks, I don’t believe I knew they made cordless til this came out

yes..very interesting ..the premium 3 speed DeWalt and the M18 Fuel which I have scored low overall.. liked to have seen a Kobalt in the mix also just to see how it would score…thanks for posting the link…
Very nice read.
For me, it’s come down to which battery platform I’m invested in, which (for some dumb reason) I am into Makita and Milwaukee in 18v and Milwaukee in 12v. When I was first looking at cordless tools, I took a look at Hilti, but a couple of factors made me go with the other red team…
1. I’m a DIY hack, and doubt I use my BRUSHED M18 or LXT drills to their full capability. Probably not even my M12 Fuel.
2. I damn near had an aneurysm when I saw how much a Hilti impact wrench was.
3. Hilti has a very small presence in Portlandia, just a small storefront in inner SE.
4. Milwaukee has a much broader selection of tools that I’m interested.
But that doesn’t mean that when I roll up on a jobsite to stake something I’m not oohing and ahhing if a guy has Hilti tools.
