The mesh should prevent it from getting clogged so you don’t even need to wash it. Similar to how flap discs clear dust well.
This is a unique idea, i just realized i need some sanding discs myself, so maybe if i see these….

The entire disc is mesh. So there’s are hundreds of smaller holes so they’re universal from 5 hole to 8 hole sanders. But there aren’t any larger traditional holes.
