Jimbo I use my impact for drilling all the time , I even use one of the bosch multi construction bits for drilling brick and stone when I’m using plugs ! I’ve built up a good collection of hex shank drill bits

I have those multi bits, they are pretty great!
I actually like it better so I don’t rip my wrist off cause I forgot the handle on a drill.
