Installed one about 4 months ago. They are quite simple to insall with very easy instructions.
Works flawlessly behind the scenes and learns your habits. It knows when I leave the house and shuts system down. Of course with the app on your phone, you can always turn it back one away from home if you like. It also knows when you’re arriving. As I walk in the dooor, the furnace is already running which is cool. It provides a monthly report to show you the usage as well.
I really don’t have to do anything other than look at it. It’s a great unit and I would recommend it.
I would grab one if it would work on my system. Would love to have one but alas I have a milivolt system and it will not work. ☹️
Thanks for posting, but after the story that came out last week I say F*** Nest!!! They started to disable the older models, which ended up turning off the persons furnace/air conditioner.
