Hey what’s up man good to see at back! Is this for the same company?
I remember doing that, hated it with a passion, dad made my brother and I hand nail the metal cap nails in the base roll. That was before we switched to epdm, no more fire hazard, and we never did another mod bit job after. Best thing we ever did, and the insurance company liked it better too.
What sorts of roofing material you install?

Ya my buddy is running a crew for the old company i use to roof for he knows how good a torcher i am so he got me to leav framing and come back wasnt hard thoo more money plus i love roofing soo ya

I love torching lol and we put down a 2 ply torch down so we nail down a fire bored and torch a bass and then a cap makes for a bullet proof roof
