I’ve noticed a lot of posts lately that have had some sweet old tools. I love old tools. Post up some pictures of some vintage tools for us all to revel in their glory. Here’s my addition. This was in my buddy’s garage, he got inherited it from his grandfather and it still runs like a champ. I can’t remember the brand. [External image (uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com), not copied]
Now we start this after I posted numerous pics on my other thread… I am sure I still have more tools buried in my garage
I love seeing vintage tools

Sorry allow me to rephrase “post your cool looking old sh**”
I’ll have to take some pics, not really old stuff but I inherited all my Dad’s old tools. I have some of the stuff from Montgomery Ward and JC Penny and it’s working. When the stuff died he normally just bought something new and then trashing that when they broke. Funny how many Dewalt and B&D drills he asked me to throw away while his old corded drills work just like new. In fact, I just used his jigsaw in January before I bought my Milwaukee m18 jigsaw! It worked like a champ!

Here we have an old Craftsman circular saw, a Montgomery Ward Orbital sander, the B&D Lectro-Saw with the fancy ground wire coming out of the plug, a Weller Sabre Saw, a Crusader Sabre saw, an Ingersoll Rand miter saw, an Igloo galvanized water cooler and of course the most important, a JVC cassette player circa 1980’s elementary school style with none other than MC Hammer telling you that you can’t touch this…

Craftsman 9.6v drill from the mid 90s, B&D 6.0v drill, craftsman unknown voltage drill advertising a “3 hour recharge” Mystery brand drill without reverse, Skill Slugger hammer drill 1/3 hp or 3.5 amps (whichever makes you feel better about owning such a powerful tool!) And a B&D grinder

Loving the pics guys
Westinghouse 1.5hp motor & compressor on a spare tank I found.
Taken out of a GMC dealership about 6 years ago, how old, I know absolutely nothing about it.

Loving all the pictures! One thing I have noticed is, they are all heavy duty looking, and stamped Made in the U.S.A. I can’t image what it would have been like to use some of those handheld tools all day long
funny how Black and Decker with Craftsman were so dominating at one time…..now not so much….
Oops forgot the picture
.
Its actually a GE motor on westinghouse pump

Thats right Wigwag, tools used to be made in the USA, back when the country truly meant something to its people. Now everything is sold to China, and so thats why we get China made tools.
It’s not just the fact that they are made over seas, but dam, those old drills are built like a tank, HEAVY MEATL \w/ lol
[External image (uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com), not copied] Old school socket driver I found the other day. Also was one of these that had a head for driving square head lags that old school buildings were oh so fond of using. I’ll clean it up and get back to you. If you follow me on Instagram you can have all the tool porn you ever dreamed of. Username is included in my TIA profile (it’s @ster_cor_arius).
