I’m torn between the two. My wife would not stand it if we had hardwood floor, so we put carpet, which is nice. But the hardwood look just gives a certain nice feel to the room. In the end, I think they both have their place

got rid of all the carpets in the late 80’s where it belongs……….but that is just my opinion……..
