Different sites like homedepot.com, toolbarn, toolnut, etc are offering $20 off a $100 purchase on selct woodworking tools. I picked up the makita compact router kit with plunge base for $121 after taxes from HD. I might get their bigger router with both bases next month before the promo ends.

Yea makita is pushing their cordless system, I would assume because they have a lot of tools coming out this year.

when ever a big brand pushes big discounts I tend to think something new is coming down the line…..

They had this promo back in Nov. And Dec. As well. I don’t believe any cordless tools are in the promo. Things like routers, miter and table saw, big planer.
For something like a miter saw it isn’t a deal of the century but for a router it is a decent deal
