This is the one I have been waiting for, funny how you made it last. Thanks Jimbo!

Wasn’t going to do it today but T75R wanted to see the DCD 790 so while i had th battery out I figured might as well
Good job on the videos they are great
Nice job Jimbo, not in the market for an impact of but if I am that’s a contender.
The 887 is definitely on my wish list, looks to be a solid performer.
Great Videos, thanks for sharing with the crew!
Thanks again Jimbo. Videos are great. Go team yellow!

Great video??
I want one, but man I like the 895 chuck with the ejector button. Shame they got rid of it.
It will be interesting if Dewalt has another impact driver waiting in the wings ….
Looking at the body of the dcd791 and dcd796, the dcf887 body looks outdated already??

Nice impact, I just dont know if its worth the upgrade from my 895. Its more of an upgrade itch than anything.

Just a torque upgrade that’s all

Better LED’s too? It does have that precision mode (speed 1) which would come in handy for me as I use my impact for everything. I never use a regular drill for fastening. And 2 impacts is better than 1 right…. ::)

I do like that mode 1. Did an online check off a local Dewalt dealer near me, €600 for the impact and two 5ah batteries ouch! I be shopping elsewhere ;D

Welcome to Europe Jimbo. You start crying when you compare prices between here and the US.
does not belong in this thread, but did anyone here about a new cordless VAC ??
apparently already around April
just curios if there is a rumor: handheld, in a toughsystem box or maybe even in a TSTAK ???
thx

Yeah sure is I brought my DCF895 from a Scottish store and I saved myself €200 than buying it here in Ireland. Milwaukee stuff is even more costly.
Nice video. Very impressive impact! I think I am selling my Bosch 18v stuff and going back to my tried and true Yellow!

What do you have in the bosch line?

18v Brushless socket ready impact, 18v brushless hammer drill, 18v circular saw and 18v brushless sds. I really like the impact and sds. For now I am keeping the sds. I do not like the saw at all. the grip and handle location are not comfortable to me compared to the Dewalt or Milwaukee.

It really is an awesome impact. After watching this video though I think the Dewalt is gonna spank it…
Now for 12v tools I really like the Bosch stuff. Compact and powerful.
Yea dewalt did a really nice job with this impact
Yeah I think Dewalts new impact has the upper hand on torque and speed all across the board compared. The DCF887 has about 200″ pounds of torque and 450 rpm solve the 182. I think for me it’s the ability to have the wrench anvil on the tool and the wireless charging set up. I won the IDH182 in the UTB along with my loved MXH but that included the wireless charging which is fantastic. I have thought about going with the new Bosch 18v and getting the 887 as I love the small collection of Dewalt tools I do have but the wireless charging system is what’s keeping me from spending extraneous cash right now. I hate it when I act like a stupid adult 🙁
i will ill say I do love my IDH, it’s done everything I’ve asked of it and multi speed range is fantastic and it’ll sink large lags like nobody’s business but the new Dewalt has some obvious power advantages.
As as far as the cordless Bosch saw? I finally got to mess around with one. Verdict….for me? Don’t like it. The Dewalt in my opinion is way better. But….I’ve got the HKC-55 now and NOTHING is better than that! Except laser beams shooting from my eyes!
