I like them, good feel I got the whole set for just under 40 bucks so I can’t complain, they are pretty good for that price, if you could get a better German brand for a little more I’d go with that but I don’t use these everyday either.

If I was an electrician and used them day in and day out I’d go for something of higher quality.

Nice little set up. What kind of home theater installs do you do?

JimboS1iceMember since Sep 2015

One of my many hats I wear lol

Any where from grandmas new tv and sound bar to 20,000 Dollar basement projector set ups. Every job is different just something I do on the side.

That reminds me, took my bag in to a house once, down the stairs, ooops, guess it’s time to clean it out anyways…

And yes, that’s exactly how my light landed

JimboS1iceMember since Sep 2015

ha ha whoops, I’ve tipped this one over a few times, it doesn’t make me too happy, the worse is my tool box I’ve tipped the f****** thing over and had a mess for hours trying to put it all back together.

I kinda want to try out a set up like that, mine doesn’t work too well as far as keeping on you. I almost need a Milwaukee pouch and store all my tools in my big DeWalt.

There’s some decent Craftsman pouches available for pretty cheap. I use some similar to the Craftsman that I bought on Amazon for my small, lesser used tools in my tool bag(Ex: Forceps, bit ratchet, magnetic pickup wire I fabricated). I have to be organized so those smaller bags are a necessity.

I also have a set of those vise grip vde pliers along with some knipex.  In comparison it’s definitely a case where you get what you pay for, but for most people the vise grips are plenty good.  Working with them all day it’s worth the money for something nicer though.

I can’t exactly tell, but those two cable cutters, are they different size? Otherwise I can’t see needing two on hand at one
