Now you’ll just have to pay full price minus 10%.

Yeah to be honest I think the weird assortment is why its such a good deal. They wanted us to clear their warehouse in Germany of 5000 of them but with such a weird assortment…no can do.

Plus it’s stainless, already a lower demand than normal screwdrivers. I’ve seen a few deals on German stainless but I really could only use a small slotted in stainless for adjusting trimmer pots but I have plastic tools for that. I guess I could justify using them on tape decks/reel to reels but I have a demagnetizer.

Wish I had need of one, but I have too many loose driver bits in my kit at the moment.

The driver in those sets is fantastic. I love my Wera security set.

@KC_Tool I have been doing a light search on WorkMo units and downloaded the catalog to get an idea of what is available. While it looks like they have put major effort into the system, I am uncertain that it is going to gain any quick favor in our market. The few current pricing structures I have seen being offered stateside are far beyond reasonable for the core sections, and overall it looks as though the system is targeted more for L-boxx setups than anything else. The T-boxx core setup looks to waste too much space between cases, and does not allow enough vertical shelf count in the existing core support box further limiting cost effectiveness.

As far as a mobile system, it looks to be limited only by what they will be able to offer based on vehicle floor designs they produce. Overall I am intrigued by the system, but fear the initial package costs will simply and/or effectively put it out of reach.

For my own interests, the only real useful parts of the system currently look to be the T-boxxes and support rails, in that I could build something that would work specifically in my own space, as I am not looking for the mobile solution outside of something on casters that will roll around the shop.

Those insulated are soo tempting, it’s a killer deal! …but I already have Wera and Wiha insulated and I’m supposed to be getting Witte insulated screwdriver set unless Sears goes bankrupt first. Though it’s too bad Gedore includes a PH0 and not the PH3.

I kinda wondered about that exact thing. It isn’t an insane assortment but why not the PH3…?

Seems like all the Europeans avoid adding it in. The only basic set that I know that includes the PH3 is the Wiha insulated 6-piece set. Wera excludes it but leaves a spot open…then they all charge $20 or more for the PH3.

Screw extractor set ordered today! It’s on back order but a killer price and will be a real blessing I can assure you 🙂

If you didn’t see our GAW on IG you should check it out. Free tools aren’t too shabby.

I’ll do a $25.00 gift card contest for TIA members who repost the contest. I already saw BMack and Jimbo repost (so they are entered). Ill pick the winner out of TIA members (that notify me via email @ [email removed] with a screenshot of the repost) randomly. If enough people repost I might do 2 winners.

really want todays gedore impact set.

It was sort of a spur of the moment. Didnt get a ton of traction.

There was some discussion of the Workmo stuff a month or more back. It certainly isn’t cheap but it is on tool of the day.

Would be interested in a comparison of some of the major storage brands. I wish I could afford it but you are looking at 10K in merchandise just to do a comparison piece.

Some of the storage solutions are so pricy. Im sure they are super nice though.

KC_ToolMember since Sep 2016

Yeah this is the actual first Workmo I have actually seen. It is pretty awesome. I would use something like this more than the Gedore tool trolleys or the even more expensive Assistents. Like @BMack37 mentioned though…i wish I had the money for it too.

How much is organization worth?

Gratefully, I just received a $25 gift card from KC Tools! (Thanks Ryan!) Somehow I know this is going to end up with me spending a lot of money I don’t have, hahaha.

I have a long list thanks to the European screwdriver sets not including a PH3, and those Felo wood handled screwdrivers..and Gedore being a surprise favorite screwdriver(wanting the non-striking cap version for the tool bag)…and those Hazet screwdrivers…and of course my Knipex addiction. Plus those FIT look interesting and I don’t have any Orbis. Damn it, soo many tools and not enough money!

Nice! Thanks to Ryan for sure!

My gedore’s have squeezed past my Napa Witte drivers as my favorite. They are just such a solid screwdriver. If it were me I’d use it towards some wiha ball end Allen head drivers. I need the metric (I think) set or the gedore wood handle drivers. They look so nice.
