Check this out….m18 FUEL nailer teaser

JeremyJMember since Apr 2014

It looks like I will have to work some overtime to get these.

Next question is do these come with the small parts organizers as a hard case? Or do they even fit?

Makes me happy if true, and smart of Milwaukee if it’s a pin. You figure lots of peeps have brad, finish nailers from Ryobi and Dewalt so coming out with a pin nailed might be smart as only Makita is making a cordless one I think. I’d be happy to add a fuel pin nailer to my ryobi Brad nailer.

Porter Cable also has a cordless pin nailer.

JerryNYMember since Jun 2015

I haven’t come across a porter cable pin nailer. I’ve seen their Brad and crown nailers but not the pin.

Link?

Wow I cant wait till they are in America. I will be getting them.

The nailers are due for release in Europe around August. Not sure about the US release date but no doubt they will be announced at the usual symposium around June/July.

khariVMember since Dec 2014

Those are some seriously sick liking nailers.

Nice of u to let them photograph your nailer.

JerryNYMember since Jun 2015

Wow, we looking at an18g Brad and 16g angled finisher? Both look more compact than any other battery powered nailer and getting close to pneumatics external dimensions…

Very good point jimbo, but Milwaukee could be the first. They are always changing things up.

Oh yeah I meant 15g. Probably wouldn’t make sense being the only 16g angled, nails would be hard to come by.

Paslode has an angled 16g nailer as well, so 16g is a possibility

comp56Member since Sep 2014

why so secretive Milwaukee????

16 gauge angled is pretty common now I never had a problem getting them because the paslode nailers used that size

Dewalt DC618 is 16ga angled finish nail gun and the nails are readily available for it. The Dewalt DC628 is a 15ga angled nail gun and uses the same nails as Senco. These are two from the old xrp line.

Interesting. I did a search just now on HD and it also shows a pic of a roofing nailer, but none of them look cordless.

KnarlyCarlMember since Jan 2016

Looks like they just put stock pics of their air nailers until they get the real deal in

Cpomilwaukee.com has a category with a nailer as the picture, but when you click it only has 4 items, none of which are the nailers.Photo from the original forum

Price is a little higher than I had hoped. For that price you’d think they would come with a fat pack and not the slims. But I’m sure I’ll end up getting one anyway [emoji12] thanks for the info!

Yea, they are just stock photos of old discontinued Milwaukee pneumatic nailers. The Milwaukee pneumatic nail guns didn’t last long.

Maxwell Tyler RayMember since Jun 2015

So what are we thinking the price is gunna be?? And are these verified prices or speculation??

rocket1420Member since Jan 2016

Even if the bare tools are $100 cheaper, that’s still a lot of $$$$$ if those end up being the real prices.

comp56Member since Sep 2014

that seems insane but like everything else if that is the price they will sell them……

DR99Member since Nov 2012

The Dewalt 20v nailer is around $299

Jasonc wrote:

It’s $399 (although cheaper with something like a Zoro 30% off), but it’s also a framing nailer.  These finish nailers should be quite a bit cheaper than a framing nailer.

Either way, I’ll still have to wait for the HD $150 promo in November or something equivalent to get one of these.

Yea definitely gunna have to wait for some kind of promo to get one!!

Guess the ole air strike ryobi is gunna have to get me through!! (Lol first world problems)

khariVMember since Dec 2014

TTI’s budget line is Ryobi. Next up is Ridgid and on top of the price heap is Milwaukee. You probably ought not to expect that the new Milwaukee Fuel nailers would be cheap.

Milwaukee prices all of their tools higher than a lot of the competition because they knew that people will pay for them, simple as that. Are they worth the price? That’s a personal decision between you and your tool budget, but it’s the same conversation whether your buying Festool green, Dewalt yellow or Woodpecker “shiny OMG I just have to have a $200 square” anodized red.
