I just wanted to thank Dan and Eric as well as Klein Tools for the new pliers from the Christmas giveaway. They just came in today so I haven’t even got them out of the plastic yet. I just wanted to say thanks again and it’s great to be part of the TIA CREW![External image (uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com), not copied]

Very nice, yes! Can not thank Klein and TIA enough. Best of luck with those Kruton.
krutonMember since Jun 2015

I hadn’t seen anyone else post them yet so I figured I would let everyone know to be in the lookout so someone doesn’t steal the package off your porch. Since we don’t have any tracking info there really isn’t a way to know if they were delivered.

Thank you Dan and Eric. Thank you Klien for supporting TIA and the crew. Mine came in today too.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

Klein defiantly got them out fast to all of the winners. To help TIA take a photo of you using them or in your tool bad and post it on Klein’s Facebook page. It helps Dan and Eric and us so we can get future giveaways. Even if you didn’t win a shout out helps. I have been trying to push the TIA hash tag on my posts on Facebook #TIA everything if you can 🙂

Nice work Klein Tools and TIA!!!!!

Very cool guys!! Thank u Klein and TIA for taking care of the crew!!

Mondo showing off with his high res pics again! Nice!

And Jason, that was exactly my thought, they want the exposure, happy to give it to them. I have several Klein tools, my favorite diagonals for sure, though I admit to looking at Milwaukee’s now that I know they have those too

No need to be sorry, being disappointed because of a delay in a prize I didn’t do anything to deserve isn’t the worse problem I could have! I’m glad you guys are getting yours in, I’m sure mine is nearby anyway. 🙂

I did browse the Klein pliers at HD yesterday in anticipation, they didn’t have the crimper version…lame!

BMack37Member since Sep 2015

Thanks Klein and TiA! Literally the only thing about my day that was enjoyable and not  total disaster, opening the Fedex package to get my new pliers 🙂

They’re definitely larger than they looked in the youtube video I originally saw them on. I thought they were the same size as the Knipex electricians pliers but they’re much bigger and have many more features! Can’t wait to use the bolt shear, I could have used it yesterday but ended up having to get the rotary tool and cut off wheel.

FazzmanMember since Apr 2014

Yeah, larger than I expected too, it has some nice beef to it,doesnt it?

Definitely, about twice the weight of the Knipex. I’ll take a side-by-side picture of them…though the Kleins are about $15 more expensive, worth every penny upon initial impression.

I stripped some wire, used the cutters and used the bolt shear…very impressed with all functionalities, especially the shear. The edges on the jaws are a little sharp but that’s just searching for flaws. I hope the person(s) that designed this tool got a raise, this is easily the most well thought out pair of pliers I own. Normally I find these multi-use pliers a master of none but this one does everything really well. I was planning on putting this in my tool box at work but it’s looking like it’s going in my tool bag, which I reserve for only the most useful tools because I try to keep the weight down.

Yea I usually avoid this “do it all with one tool” style tools but it looks awesome and glad to hear that it’s working out for you guys. Nice to see forum guys get the give always.

You definitely have a point there, it makes it a little more clumsy, but if I’m going somewhere for a quick service and won’t be onsite for a long time, it’s great.

Overall, it’s been extremely useful, the needle nose-like front grips very well and are nicer than a regular pair of needle nose, and it has the common sizes of wire stripping I use, although it’s more difficult to see that portion as well as a dedicated stripper (it’s recessed in a little bit).

Oh and my co-workers are jealous ha

That’s funny man. The only other Klein tool I have is a small voltage tester. I really like these pliers, may have to check out some more of their stuff.
