yup thought about it all day, looked at the website over and over and each time the price didn’t change the only thing that was changing was the amount of stock…..I convinced myself by 4 PM that at this price it was a no brainer…..so I took a ride over to the store and bang before I knew it I was unpacking it……took some video that I need to edit that I will post or try to post of the un boxing…….

Wow she’s a beauty comp

You don’t even have to paint this one comp. It looks right at home in your shop.

MikeyBMember since Dec 2014

That’s a real nice looking saw Comp,

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Nice Comp I’d love to hear your thoughts on the work light and if it’s similar to the XPS light on Dewalt.

comp56Member since Sep 2014

thanks guys, ya red red red…kinda fits right in….

@millerz total came to $450.87 CND with tax  or $321USD money is crazy which for me makes this deal even better….

believe it or not we go across the border from time to time to buy stuff as it is usually cheap however in this case US home depot has it for $649 converted to Canadian plus taxes would be well over $1025 plus I would have to drive near 4 hours to the closest  HD even though I live 34 miles for the US border…..lol

@Chris yes will do, gonna have to do some rearranging to fit it on a nice table probably build something for it with wings.

as for the light I can see already I will like it, it lights up the deck pretty good haven’t cut anything yet however….

BTW, let me know if you need help squaring up the bevel. It’s a pain in the ass to figure out and the manual is absolutely no help at all.

Definitely don’t have to worry about power now. Not that I recommend it, but I’ve used mine to cut soaking wet PT 2x12s with no problem. Oak 2x that regularly broke #10 screws didn’t make the saw break a sweat.

That is a cool looking miter saw stand. You could do something as good.

That’s a nice miter saw I’ve used it before and I really like it

Throw a Diablo on the new one and you could probably cut steel I-beams in half lol

I am jealous though. Thats a fantastic deal on that saw, I’m tying to hold out to see what the US M18 version will be like but for that price I would have snagged the deal you got most likely . Wish it was available here in the US for that price. The only real negative I’ve read about that saw is that its pretty heavy, maybe a detriment for lugging to and from to job-sites but for stationary work in a shop it’s probably a plus being so beefy for stability.

Yea it sucks but usually Canadian residents get hosed on tool deals so it’s their turn to grab some steals.

truth be told, I was doing just fine with my old one per say, sure I came across many times I wish I had more power but the Milwaukee for me was out of reach price wise every time I walked by it at home depot……..then when I seen the sale I fell to the powers of Milwaukee once again……..I did want to grab a diablo if to put it on right away or use the stock blade for awhile but they only had 105 tooth blades in stock and I didn’t want that many teeth…lol

Did you fall to your knees while a bright beam of light shone down upon thee bellowing, “though shall by this saw!”
