Do any of you guys have tools that you bought a long time ago but still work like the day you bought them? Some tools just seem like they won’t die. One of those such tools is my dads ingersoll rand 231 that he has had since he graduated high school. My grandpa now uses it at his home garage. The only thing wrong with it is the friction ring is broken. It still kicks like a mule though. It is just over 31 years old too. If you guys have any old tools still kicking post them here.
My old man had about a 25-30 year old black and decker circular saw that still works like a charm

The tool that has lasted me the longest is probably my craftsmen wrenches
Makita skill saw. And still using a Makita router. It is red all over. With a red case. My dad bought it new. When they were red. Any body know or have one like it? I’ll take a pic if I can remember to.

I have some vintage Ridgid pipe wrenches that my grandfather left me. I use them once in a while, he said he used the crap out of them but the jaws still look like new, even with my use. Very well made.
My Dad’s old Craftsman 7-1/4″ circular saw I have. He gave it to me when he moved to Florida. I replaced the cord with an aftermarket kit from HD and a new blade and it works just fine. Not a powerhouse like my new Skilsaw but it gets the job done quite nicely. Pretty sweet being the thing is over thirty years old.
I have some of my father’s Miller Falls tools that are at least 50 to 60 years old and are like new. not sure if anyone remembers Miller Falls or not…..
I have a snap on ratcheting screw driver that is about 25+ years old and it still works like a champ, I also have a husky hickory framing hammer it was the first hammer I ever bought about 15 years ago and i still use it daily I have never even changed the handle on it
