Doesn’t have to be tools but you guys get anything good for chirstmas? Did Christmas with my parents and sister today and got a husky 4.6 gallon silent flow compressor. Can’t wait to try it out!

Now you can enjoy Christmas a little more thanks to the TIA guys, Dan and Eric for that sweet Ridgid gen 5 kit. Congrats.

The wife picked up the husky portable table I’ve been waiting. Only reason I got it early was she didn’t wrap it.

DamianDMember since Dec 2013

Congrats on the sweet gen5 win.  I have a feeling there aren’t any tools under the tree for me this year.

RickyMcGrathMember since Oct 2014

Got some new DeWalt work gloves and a new holster for my M&P. Open carry goes live in a week and I needed a nice level 2 holster.

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

Woke up to this today crew!! The wifey was spying on my Amazon cart lol I’m glad she did!! I’m finally on vacation!!! And we’re getting ready to go out with family so I can’t wait to come back home to put this together! Have a great day crew!

You’re going to love it. I have the Keter version and as this point it’s my favorite tool in the garage.

I’m not sure if tools are in the budget this year but I could use a torque wrench. Guess I should of asked Santa-

But I’m honestly having more fun building presents this year. I started this season bummed because money’s tight but i have managed to create some awesome gifts.

The little girl next door left an xmas card in our doorstep a few days ago with some candy attached. I returned the favor today and with inspiration from my wife’s robot gift, I decorated the candy jar like a robot 🙂 sorry no pics.

Here are the tools I had sitting under the tree for Christmas!

– Bosch L-Boxx3

– Tekton 1/2″ Drive Torque Wrench

– Ridgid 12″ Aluminum Pipe Wrench

– Fatmax 8m/26′ Tape Measure

krutonMember since Jun 2015

No tools for me yet, but after one Christmas get together so far I’ve got $75 in Home Depot gift cards. We still have 4 more family Christmas parties so I will hopefully be getting several more. Look out new miter saw cause here I come. Now to decide between the Bosch 12 inch axial glide or the Dewalt DWS780…decisions, decisions!

Awesome Jimbo!

I highly recommend getting the AutoMaxx clamp for that kit. It really makes that little jig very handy and speeds up the process. Set it to your preferred tension and it auto adjusts to the material thickness.

The wifey got it for me bro from Amazon wen I looked it up it was about $150ish but she said she got it for $129 after the $25 off $100 deal Amazon/Dewalt had, very very sturdy and so easy to maneuver bro and stores right up against the wall for space saving. The only problem I’m having is after cuttin a few pieces I don’t think it’s cutting square but I’m checking everything and everything seems perfect I don’t know what I’m doing wrong man, how do u check yours Chris? I might be doing something wrong…

No tools this year or any other year. The wife and kids know when it comes to buying tools for me it is a lot easier just to get me a gift card. I know that I have told this story before but I ‘ll tell it again. My daughter went to Home Depot looking to get me something for Fathers day. She got to talking to the sales person and he asked what I would like. She told him well he has a trailer and a garage full of tools some yellow and a lot of red and a bunch of other colors. The sales guy just said Gift card.

Same here, unless I tell me wife something specific right down to the model number. But I never ask for anything anyways.

Mike, use this process to REALLY check for square. I know it’s for a crosscut sled, but you can use the process to see exactly how square or out of square it is.

I used this process to get my crosscut sled to +/- .0001 of an inch over 12″

I mesure from the groove in the table to the fence. Frount and back before a cut to make sure it’s square. The groove for the slide for cross cuts. I can’t think of what it’s called. You know what I mean though.

I try to stress to everyone that I really don’t need anything for Christmas, but if they insist then get me a home depot gift card…rarely happens though. I think I have roughly 8000 screwdrivers now!

Little late in posting. It was a busy week and lot of things going on. So much that I haven’t had a chance to open and play around with them.

At this point, I’m just about complete on the whole Porter and Cable series. Still deciding on whether I’m going to pull the trigger on the nailers. I already have the Bostich Framing and Finishing nailer.
