New DeWalt Sawhorses Spotted – Folding Snap-Together Design

These new DeWalt sawhorses look very promising. I saw it on the top shelf tonight, grabbed the stairs and got one down, opened it up, checked it out. They are very light and snap together like the Tstak boxes. I am definitely interested in a set.

I checked Home Depot online and saw these are a brand new product, no reviews online yet.

Those are cool! Nice find and thanks for sharing! We’re u able to see a price for them?

FazzmanMember since Apr 2014

Man those would be perfect to support my kids 0 gauge train track setups.

Rtorres092382Member since Sep 2014

Really liking that design over the folding plastic ones. I was going to buy 2 more of the old style but think I’ll be waiting for these. Nice find,

In my area the one sawhorse rang up $42.xx after tax. I didn’t buy it just yet.

I will say, it unfolded very easily and was quick to setup. Once setup on the floor and put my weight on it and shifted around, it was very stable. I have an old set of Stanley all plastic sawhorses that need to disappear.

These might be the new ones in the trailer. I am still contemplating the Rugged Buddy design as well. I do like how these will hold 2x4s upright to make a quick table.

They will also be available in Europe / Q1

(I curently state for UK and Germany, but I assume all countries will follow)

Q1 ebrochure / flyer should be out in a few days !

I aready saw the item on the price list

cheers

Those look nice

The.HandymanMember since Aug 2015

Well, I bought a pair, snapped them together and carried around the yard. Decent weight but not crazy heavy with both on one arm. I really like them so far. I will be using them tomorrow when I finish building out the window frame I tore out today.

krutonMember since Jun 2015

I just saw those at HD today. Looked pretty nice and if I saw right only $36 for the pair. I have the toughbuilt c550’s and love them otherwise I would have grabbed a pair of the dewalts.

That’s not bad at all if its 36 dollars for the pair! I like how compact they store

krutonMember since Jun 2015

I will have to confirm if that price is for the pair. I thought it was, but after looking at the HD app that may be a piece.

The price is per sawhorse. I bought both with a Lowes 10% off coupon. I looked at those ToughBuilt C550 sawhorses. I was very temped but decided to try these out as they were lighter and snapped together for storage/transport.

Those look really handy

I hadn’t seen these yet. Pretty cool.

It doesn’t appear to be the case but for anyone who picked these up, can you confirm that there is no height adjustment?

I have a pair of these and really like them.

I have to agree with Ricky…..these are the best out there.

There is no height adjustment on these new sawhorses. Used them today. I really like them. I need to get a few S hooks so that I can hang my circular saw and jigsaw on them if I don’t have a table set up nearby.

Looking at the legs, it appears they are a form of C Channel and that would make for an easy modification to add your own height adjustments and leveling legs.

Nice find! I hav the work stand that Ricky posted, but if these new models are only $36, I might have to pick up a pair.

RickyMcGrathMember since Oct 2014

The Toughbuilt look nice too. Has build in levelers on the legs.

What’s the cost on that one? I like the levelers on the feet

I believe the model toughbuilt shown there is 49 a piece. They also have another model without the adjustable height legs but still has the same feet for 24 a piece.

Here’s the Sku’s and price.

RickyMcGrathMember since Oct 2014

It appears they used the same stock photo for both. So the $29 version may not have the adjustable feet.

77Ford01Member since May 2015

I love the Tough Built …. But the edges are sharp that is why now I will only buy the DeWalt work station

Do you know if the price went up? I know I didn’t pay more than 25 for them. Maybe I did I guess, or maybe that’s how much I told my wife they cost

Must be different prices at different stores.[External image (uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com), not copied]

I made a 4×8 plywood cutting table out of several 2x4s in a lap joint grid pattern. I have it held in place with my Triton jaw horse. I end up trying to centrally locate the table in the jaw horse then clamp it shut. It works out okay but the Dewalt or those Toughbuilt saw horses would be perfect. Grrrrrrrrr

krutonMember since Jun 2015

I would like to get one of those jaw horses, they seem pretty handy really.

Yeah they are really nice Kruton and the Triton model I’ve had for about five years. It works great, solid interface but I don’t know if it will work with any of the Rockwell stuff. I just have the one and it does exert a huge amount of clamping force. Since building the cutting table I’ve been using this quite regularly and have a sheet on it right now for a weekend project. I think the sawhorses would provide more stability over a larger area though.

FazzmanMember since Apr 2014

Both the jawhorse and some of these folding horses. are totally on my list. The folding ones we are gonna build a setup with for my sons Trains. Im really liking the look and price of those tough built ones.

The.HandymanMember since Aug 2015

I chose to give the new DeWalt sawhorses a try over the ToughBuilt ones for the sheer fact one of the ToughBuilts weighed about the same as both DeWalts snapped together. I really liked the idea of 2 sawhorses snapping together to carry one unit as well. Makes it handy when setting up.

I also have one of the heavy duty DeWalt work stands above that I use as a small saw setup.

Rtorres092382Member since Sep 2014

Any chance you can take a picture of how they snap together?

rrich1Member since Jun 2015

The toughbuilts are not the same in those pics. The more expensive one has adjustable legs and the cheaper one doesn’t. The Masterforce are copies but the the areas where the 2x4s go fold up in the Masterforce ones. Something to keep in mind for space savings.

Anyone find these on European market yet. I’d love to replace my stanley sawhorses. They take up a heap of space
