This new Dewalt radio sounds awesome but I can’t figure out how to adjust the time!

owners manual ๐Ÿ™‚

Haha thanks jbw55 but there’s nothing in it! I found it under FAQ on the Dewalt website. They say it’s automatic when I picks up a radio station signal, but I’ve tried a ton of stations and not one give me the correct time!

Do like I did on the VCR when I was a kid, electrical tape! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Petro0311Member since Oct 2015

Haha this radio sounds sick but it may need a little electrical tape haha

Petro0311Member since Oct 2015

I emailed Dewalt and asked.

For some reason the Radio Data Signals never caught on around here either. I think we have 1 station that supports it.

I don’t have one but if I couldn’t fix the time that would drive me absolutely nuts.

The problem is the radio stations they need to be “HD radio” to support the time and song display

I think Dewalt dropped the ball with that one

Not referring to the whole unit as a lemon just all the engineering put into it with probably the best sounding job site radio on the market just the fact it’s disappointing Dewalt wouldn’t have a manual override to adjust the time.

No real point to it you would be setting it every time it is unplugged

I ran it for 8 hours straight on a station that supposedly has time support and HD. Clock never caught up to actual time.

Did you try connecting via Bluetooth? Maybe that will set it

I did this weekend. All day for three days while I was doing our backsplash.

Is the clock something that Dewalt can even flash the computer to fix or will we need to wait for a Type 2? Though I already have the radio and love it with or without a clock.

rcarnes911Member since Jan 2016

For 200 they should have added a watch battery, I looked up HD stations around me and they all suck guess when I buy it I will just ignore the clock

Hi ย  I got a DCO12 ย 18 volt , I have changed time zones, back and forth for 4 years, I have to use batteries, and replace batteries when dead,ย the time would change and worked ย great. One time I put radio channel on CBC, not sure if that was it but when I changed battery the display came up blank, no time and no display. now wrong time, can’t change it, 2 hrs and 20 sec. off. has anyone found out how to change it?
