neighbor kid got a dewalt scroll saw. We’re gonna open it up tommorow but I was wondering if anyone had any pointers. Ime more of a metal guy so this whole wood thing is a change.
It’s a dewalt one, not sure the model.
nothing really other than have spare blades…..first time out, make cuts slow
Order some #5 and #3 Flying Dutchman UR Blades. The ones that come with the DeWalt are garbage, and might cause you to get discourage. Check out the Scroll Saw Village, and Steve Good’s Scroll Saw Workshop, there are ton of great folks there. Both have a in-depth beginners guide. I been Scrolling for a long time, so feel free to ask me any questions.
