Fuel 7 1/4 circ saw

I am going to be buying a new circ saw and want the fuel 7 1/4 but my Home Depots have them on sale… Anyone know if this sale is because there is a new saw coming soon or because they are just being nice and selling it for 30 bucks cheaper??

It could just be a price reduction nothing has been teased that the saw is going to be replaced anytime soon. It’s not that old yet.

Thanks jasonc I thought since the gen 2 drills are here and the old ones are on sale, that maybe it was the case for the saw…

Plus were close to the holidays so hopefully we see a nice bunch of deals soon:}

Thats true about the holidays. Everyone likes a good deal.

I think Milwaukee wants to have 3/4 years between model updates unless the market forces them to update sooner. We might see a new high torque impact now with the new Dewalt and Beastly Makita beating the Fuel in spec’s

The Gen2 drill/impact is out, but they Gen1 drill is much older than the FUEL saws. I’d say it will be a while before they announce any saw updates.

Yea I never owned anything Mileaukee until the new Hammerdrill so I didn’t know the saws were so new.

A good hint as to why there cheaper could be there already gearing up for Christmas…..our home depet is jammed packed with Christmas decorations already, usually it starts right around thanksgiving but this year much earlier.

I was in HD today and they had more of their holiday kits coming out, two Makita grinders for 99 so slowly over the next few weeks we’ll see some awesome stuff.

Depends how bad you need it, there’s always a chance with the baretool they will have a deal for a free battery pack, HD has been doing that a lot recently. But sometimes being patient will play out.

Milwaukee is usually really good about having holiday deals I think they’re more active on there deals than others brands

If you need, want or what ever then go for it and enjoy…..the 7 1/4 fuel circ most likely has another year before something new hits the shelves
