Me too. But…..I had a hundred bucks in PayPal so it’s on the way 😉

jbw55Member since Jul 2015

Wow, smokin deal!!…..I don’t need another drill or battery format but I may just buy it for the bragging rights deal, ha ha.

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Yeah, that is a SMOKIN deal. I got the email and was like……$69? Yeah, I’ll bring lunch to work for a few days 😉

I need another platform like I need another head on my shoulders but this is something I’ve wanted to try for quite a while. Plus the top end speed is unbelievable!

optimistspencerMember since Jul 2015

Wow… I have $300 saved right now, I guess now is the time to use it. I’ll post pics if I get it!

Yeah considering that, you would be crazy not to get it. I’ll admit that it is tempting, but I need a new miter saw more than I need an 8th drill!

ya but you do realize it would be court ordered and I wouldn’t have anything sharp, or battery powered….as it is I’m only allowed in my shop with supervised visits until I am finished my probation in 2058…do you know how embarrassing it is to have a loud beeping go off any time I go near the tools at Home depot because of a stupid angle bracelet I have to wear…..

Hey guys. Here’s a little Fein Porn if you bought this or are on the fence….

You are a jerk, you know that right?! I just got the Fein multimaster today so I am going to let that satisfy my need for Fein for the time being.

You know Kruton, I’d really like to hear what you have to say about the tool. It’s quality….period. You know something else? I’d go with the Fein before the Vecturo me thinks.

I was thinking pretty hard about the Vecturo. I really like that plunge cut base too. I think the Fein should be more than I need. A matching orange and black drill would look pretty nice in my toolbox though!

I didn’t have a chance to post this deal earlier but I was surprised at how low it they were pricing this drill. I wonder what the deal is did they buy too many or what?

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

It’s still active though. I’m not sure why but they had a similar sale a while back on one of the multi master tools too. Love Tool Nut!

DR99Member since Nov 2012

That has to be below cost. I wish I needed another drill, but I really need a another drill like a hole in my head!! I have The M12 and M18 gen2 fuel plus the Bosch drill Eric sent.

dwainMember since Aug 2013

OMG, this costs like AU$800 over in Australia! And they don’t ship internationally!!! :cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

We reviewed it a while back, amazing tool. ‘https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrV0PM6lEHk

I am really thinking hard about this now. I really don’t need 8 drills. If I get this I’m going to have to ditch the Ryobi I have in my office and replace it with this one.

slight upgrade 😉 !! 😛

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

Yeah that’d be like replacing a Ford Escort with a Dodge Ram hahahahahahahahahahaha

Man…….I AM FUNNY!!!!

DR99Member since Nov 2012

Haha, buy two of them Dwain and let me keep one and I will send it over to you in Australia!! I will just have to declare it as rocks though for customs. That is insane the price difference though!!

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

All kidding aside, brass tax wise, I paid 69 for it!!!!! Minus the 100 in PayPal. I. Al out tempted to buy another on my card to sell on eBay but I wo t 🙁

dwainMember since Aug 2013

i don’t know how much it would cost to post to Aus, but if someone were giving an Aussie TIA friend a hand (through ebay maybe) ….

the exchange rate makes up most of it in this case (compared to regular price).

DR99Member since Nov 2012

Ahh, forgot about the exchange rate.

That is for sure! Honestly though I got the Ryobi to try out since they seem to have a reputation of not being a great brand so I wanted to see for myself. I’ll be honest I have been really surprised about how well it has worked so far. That being said, the Ryobi is stuck in my office at work and my Bosch, Makita and Milwaukee drills are at home where I use them all of the time!

No doubt Kruton, I like the Ryobi tools my Dad has and the Airstrike I have is top notch. Plus the batteries are holding up very well. A buddy of mine does contracting and still, all of his cordless are blue Ryobis (like my Dad who contracts part time on the side) and he swears by them.

Guess who just ordered his?

dwiain if you bought 10 of them to sell back home, you could save enough to go to USA and get them……make a trip out of them……..good day sir whats in the suit case…..ummm a few drills……….

jbw55Member since Jul 2015

When I ordered my Fein drill I was told they were expecting thier shipment early next week but just recieved the tracking number, so it looks all of us that ordered should have them about the same time….woohoo can’t wait 🙂

Peter ArgyropoulosMember since Sep 2015

Just ordered one now, same low price. I really don’t know how they’re doing it so cheap. The ASCM series is the one they make in house in Deutschland – not the ASB series which are actually rebranded Milwaukees. If I could I’d get two, but I can’t afford that at the moment. Looks like I might finally have a reason to put my venerable Metabo up on eBay 🙂

ChrisKMember since Dec 2012

I read a post from one of the Tool up sales people and it looks like they don’t normally sell these but they do sell the multi tool lineup. I’m assuming they worked out the special with Fein but yeah, that is why I got this one. German made, not rebranded. Plus the multi chuck is pretty sweet. I will say from what I’ve read the rebranded TTI / Milwaukee is made to Feins standards and is supposedly a decent drill and somewhat different. Amazing how much the drill, hammer and impact look just li,e Milwaukee M18 older tech though.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

I had to jump in and buy one also. It sucked money wise but at $169 it’s a no brainier. I doubt a price this good will happen again. I wonder what the story is with this pricing. I also wonder what other chucks might work with this drill.

Peter ArgyropoulosMember since Sep 2015

Mine’s on it’s way. Woot! I’m looking for a buyer for my Metabo at this point, but it’s a hard sell locally – not many people know the brand 🙁

When I bought mine I ask the same question “why so cheap” they said they buy in large quantities and are one of the largest retailers of the brand…..regardless the reason they gave me its a killer deal for an awesome tool, I really didn’t need another drill but I buy stuff all the time I don’t need LOL!! Mine arrives Friday, can’t wait 🙂

You will probably have to Ebay it.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

I got mine in today. The drill is pretty sweet it’s really well balanced and super quiet when you use it. My only issue is I got 2ah batteries with my kit when they said 4ah on the spec sheet. I don’t know if it was an error there or the drill I was shipped.

Are you going to contact them about it? I’d be FURIOUS. That’s not a little mistake, these batteries aren’t cheap.

jbw55Member since Jul 2015

Recieved mine today, impressive kit…..nice touch on the form fitted foam insert and the bit accessory. Mine has the 4ah batteries. If anyone is on the fence on this one I would snag one up before there gone, even if you don’t need one ha ha. for $169 its a steal.

Most likely an oversight, I’m sure they will make it right for him…..like we all have never made mistakes before.

I hope so! Seems like it was an oversight if you received the proper batteries.

I contacted Tool Nut they are taking care of it as soon as they can on Monday. Your screwed if anything goes wrong with an item on Friday. I’m just glad I double checked on which batteries I got.

Good deal, hopefully they’ll let you keep the 2ah hour batteries!
