Well a month ago I bought new tires and wheels for the pickup, and they are a bit bigger than the old ones. To my dismay, they rub at full crank. Today, I got around to removing my mud flaps to solve the problem. I had the wheels cranked each way to allow more access, and while removing the drivers side flap I see something that doesn’t look right; my sway bar is hanging in mid air not connected to anything. It’s fairly common for them to rust through and disappear on you, and will definitely be on my list of preventative maintenance from now on. Sway bar link kits are inexpensive, and easy fixes, just a reminder to double check your vehicle over periodically, sometimes you don’t realize things are awry until it’s too late. ![]()

It would just be nice to live somewhere where road salt doesn’t kill your car. Also we have more potholes than roads here in Michigan which also does a number on suspension parts and rims and tires. I just had to deal with a flat a few days ago. It’s nice that Discount Tire plugs tires for free! Well they have an ulterior motive with that offer its a good way to sell tires anyways!! They won’t plug too close to the side wall or plug a tire with 3 or more patches.
If it has tits or wheels it will give you problems
Both can be pretty fun at times though!!
You got that right
. Wow Bremen good thing u coaut that man I’ve really been neglecting my truck and wife’s car as of late.. I need to get back on itBremon wrote:

I noticed the same thing on my truck a little while back.
My research led me to replace them with moog problem solver sway bar links. Been holding up great
Moog is what I picked up as well NER, glad to hear some of the crew has positive feedback on them.
