So who is all excited to see what the one key system is about?!?!

Charles HarrisMember since Apr 2015

Cool

krutonMember since Jun 2015

All of my Milwaukee tools are corded so I am guessing I won’t get anything unlocked, but I have to admit they do have me intrigued.

I’m definitely interested. I wonder how game changing it will be. If they snagged the patent on a really great tech idea, it could definitely sway loyalties.

n00bMember since Jun 2015

Hoping it’s as rad as DeWalt’s Bluetooth battery-thing! [/sarcasm]

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

Oooh man I’m kinda scared I really love my Team Yellow but 2marrow could really change things

Bmill25Member since Jul 2015

I hope that the big reveal doesn’t cause me to roll my eyes and go back to sleep. I am kinda excited. I don’t think they would do this unless this really could change the way we work.

rees332Member since Jun 2015

I can’t wait to see what milwaukee got to offer us

I’m very curious about what this could be. Hopefully it lives up to the hype

I think it’s going to be more like you can adjust parameters. And maybe log data.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

Oh god no please not be related to the Ryobi Phone works. I had a friend that got one of them and it really didn’t work all that well. Plus just the setup was crazy you have to enter in so much information its borderline insanity. This was supposed to be for contractors not it people. It should have just been plug and play.

comp56Member since Sep 2014

I’m guessing something with smart phones

Hahaha. Now that’s funny!

NERemodelingMember since Aug 2014

Like Bmill and nalu. I too hope this isn’t a whole bunch of hype for some pointless crap. Hopefully they really have something useful up their sleeve!! I’m excited to see

Maxwell Tyler RayMember since Jun 2015

Definitely excited!! Anticipation has certainly build..but I’m kinda scared I’ll be let down:/

Maxwell Tyler RayMember since Jun 2015

Fingers crossed

krutonMember since Jun 2015

I hope they announce they are going to be launching fuel versions of small kitchen appliances. Like a brushless waffle maker or a 9.0ah blender battery.

Hahaha you might be onto something..I’m sure there are a few of us that would love Milwaukee plastered all over our kitchens!!

Hell yeah, I would by a Milwaukee toaster. I can’t stop buying their hand tools now might as well get some breakfast from them too.

If the tools don’t do the work themselves while I watch T.I.A videos all the day I will be pissed

I can’t wait to see what Melisandre has in store for everyone at Castle Black…o wait that’s the wrong team red…

Charles HarrisMember since Apr 2015

The big timer on the Milwaukee site is down to all zeros.

Where is it? They must have forgot about it.

austinthecityMember since Jul 2015

Release is at 10am est I believe.

Yeah that time has already come and gone. They must have forgot. LOL!

It must have not been important.

austinthecityMember since Jul 2015

Someone dropped the ball on that one for sure.

#onejob

austinthecityMember since Jul 2015

Pro tools review did say 10am on Twitter and now they’re saying 11am.

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

COME ON MILWAUKEEEE!!!!!!!

Poisonfangs85Member since Feb 2015

Killing me! The timer is at zero on their website but still nothing…this better be good

nola toolsMember since Apr 2014

Okay, its tomorrow. I’ve been to the one – key website (in which the countdown clock is showing all 0’s) signed up for the email alert, checked there Twitter, and Facebook accounts, and still don’t know anything. Anybody know what’s going on?

DoofMember since May 2015

I’m figuring noon EST, or 9 AM PST.

austinthecityMember since Jul 2015

It’s up.

jeffmcmillanMember since Jun 2015

Thanks, but I’ll stick with my normal variety of things that spin with their various speeds and torques and occasionally impacts. No need to overcomplicate and overprice things.

Charles HarrisMember since Apr 2015

It seems to be a lot like the programming we have for RC stuff

Charles HarrisMember since Apr 2015

It seems interesting, but I don’t think I’m looking to drop all my current fuel tools.

austinthecityMember since Jul 2015

I wonder how accurate this will be… if it’s really accurate it could eliminate the need for torque wrenches.  A one-key impact wrench could be used for everything…

n00bMember since Jun 2015

Extensive write-up.

Yeah. No. I love Bluetooth tech, but it’s a batt suck for phones and the device itself.

If a Bluetooth headset, all be it small, has a talk time of two hours, what sort of impact is the same tech gonna have on battery drain?

nola toolsMember since Apr 2014

What about M12 one-key? Will they have those tools? And if so, I guess now that I’ve invested so heavily in that platform, I’d have to start over again right… of course that’s only if the features are worth the investment for me. It just seems like they just came out with the new M12 fuel stuff, especially the circular saw, and now they’re saying thanks for buying these top of the line expensive tools thinking that you’re getting the best of the best, but guess what? , we knew this was coming and now you have to suck it up, and accept that your just released tools suck compared to these very soon to be released tools, THAT WE KNEW ABOUT ALL ALONG. I feel that they’re taking advantage of my addiction to buying the newest, “bestest”, tool on the market! BUT THEN AGAIN IT REALLY IS MY ISSUES THAT HAVE TO BE DEALT WITH. IT’S NOT THERE FAULT I’M SUCH A TOOL JUNKIE! LOL! But, I really love that my team really keeps blowing the rest AWAY. I mean really, Dewalt has blue tooth batteries. WOW! That was underwelming to begin with, but this makes them

I knew it, smartphone interface………http://professional-power-tool-guide.com/power-tool-forum/index.php?/topic/6960-so-tomorrow-is-the-big-milwaukee-one-key-reveal-73015/?p=73263

kinda lame really, if your a production manager who cares about specs of the tools…………. get the job done!

BremonMember since Dec 2014

The only tool this has me excited for is a 2754 with customizable torque. And only if it can get me close enough to torque spec for mine and the SO’s vehicles so I no longer need my torque wrench. Otherwise I dunno, maybe I will stick with 2704 rather than 2706. Plus mid-August is closer than January so it will be harder to wait haha.

Banging the jobsite-drum leads me to believe that this’ll be exclusive to M18 Fuels and targeting super-duper-hardcore-pro-contractors only.

ChrisMember since Jun 2015

I can’t see how this would be useful at all to me personally. I imagine different parts of the industry will find it very useful. I can really see it being useful when torquing down bolts and nuts.

BigmikezMember since Jun 2013

I don’t k ow what to think yet guys I’m excited about it way more than Dewalts Bluetooth battery and I’m a dewalt guy but still I like to just grab my tool and go to work and now I feel I gotta reach for the phone first set up soeed and torque and then get to work… Hmmm I just don’t know yet.

BremonMember since Dec 2014

Mike I think that says more about how pedestrian DeWalt’s underwhelming batteries are than how exciting One Key is.

Justin HernandezMember since Apr 2015

If I’m wasting time messing around on my phone I can’t get any work done. Thanks but no thanks

comp56Member since Sep 2014

ya seems to be something for a very small window of people, the vast majority will want to just start working. if you can dial in you tourque setting on an auto impact then just put a dial on the gun……..
