Hello everyone, my name is Jeff and enjoy all things tools……I’ve been in need of nice moderate priced 5 inch orbit sander and recently ran across this forum so decided to join, I look forward in learning and contribute where and when I can.
Welcome to the crew Jeff! Glad to have you on board, the more knowledge we can put together here the better for everyone. It’s a great group.

Welcome Jeff!
Not sure if you can swing it or not but festooned makes some of the nicest, most well built sanders you can buy.. the ets125 is their standard style 5″ palm sander but it is probably a little less aggressive then most others.. it’s meant to be a fine finish sander. The ro150 is quite a bit more money but will do everything from very aggressive removal to fine finish with its dual modes..
before I got into festool I used makita 5″ ro palm sanders and always thought the worked well and held up good
