It looks awesome, is it painted or powder coated??
They call it a “textured powder coat”
I’m gunna look into them, pretty sure they will break my bank.
All of the powder coated tool boxes here peel off in a year and rust, I don’t know what the manufacturers are doing but its all wrong
Holy smokes 2k….I fold.
Really nice box, not worth dropping over 2 grand on it though.
At that price, I’ll make my own and get some real high end stainless handles and what not, LOL
2 grand the heck?? That thing would get stolen off my truck in 5 mins after putting in
Slick box. My next one will be a Weather Guard saddlebox. Currently using a GM low profile one that somewhat disappoints me.

Lol! That’s what I’m sayin’! It would become a target instead of a stronghold for my tools.

The worst part would be that the thieves would sell it for a quick 300 bucks
2 grand is definitely to much to drop on a box but it is very cool though.

OK, people have been sharing some very expensive stuff on TIA lately, I mean redonkulously expensive. 1600 dollars for a thing that holds your drill bit against metal, 2000 dollars for a truck box, and what was it 300,000 for a jigantic snapon toolbox. TIA is not about the super rich, its about lower bracket and middle bracket of income, and we can’t afford all this silly crap. Anybody who spends 2000 dollars on a truck box is either not thinking clearly, or has more money then they know what to do with. Of course, everything I just said is my opinion, you don’t have to agree with it, just take it with a grain of salt. My two cents
I just came across this box in just messing around on the internet, I definitely don’t own one of these, i posted it up as more of a look at what is being done. Not necessarily a hey you need to buy this, if you own this or go buy this more power to you, I was just sharing some cool tool stuff with tool people.
Also if there is a more appropriate section of the forum for this type of post please let me know. (still pretty new at posting here)
It should be posted in the “I can’t afford this, but If I had the money I would buy it” section..lol
Maybe that should be a new thread!Justin Hernandez wrote:

I agree would be a fun thread to look through.
Wow, that’s a lot of dough for a truck box. You must have that Dan money.
I hear Dan money is better than Trump money nowadays..lol
While we’re talking about truck boxes, I would really like to see some tool fights between different truck boxes. I know they aren’t cheap but a lot of us depend on them and it would be nice to really see them go head to head.
That’s a really good idea, it seems like every manufacture builds there boxes differently. Does anybody know were I can buy new lift assist pistons for tool boxes at a cheap prices mine broke years ago??
Napa I believe.
I think this box has a place on this site, people here more than most places should be able to appreciate splurging on tool related gadgets. The Weatherguard I’ll buy will likely be $1000. The toolbox I have with the modular rail system was $1000. Look at a site like garage journal; people of all walks of all income levels heckling and appreciating all brands regardless of price haha. I still think those snap on boxes are insane though :P.
Thanks, a few hours ago I was on a Napa roof that’s a weird coincidence. I just didn’t think it was worth the money, I would spend that money on tools not a box
It’s a nice looking box.
I have seen a lot of white powder coated boxes rusting an causing sounding paint to have rust colorist stains in it.

I see a lot of powder coat peel off here, and people paint the missing spots but it just keeps peeling until there’s nothing left
My aluminum box is powdercoated and after 5 years the powdercoat has started to peel badly.
5 years that’s good, I’ve seen real bad on 1 year old boxes and then the heavy rust starts.
Very cool find! I can’t believe I haven’t seen this company. My next big investment is going to be a new tool box for my truck. I was wanting a custom box that would fit me. I have been making sketches and doing some research. These are the two companies I found so far.

I like the idea of drawers in the box. Again thanks for posting this! I am a fan of tool boxes. The fleet pick ups where I work have whether guard and I have just not been impressed by them the way they want to crack on the seams. Also to answer your question about where to get new strouts for your lid. Just take it off and go to Orielys and match it up with one they use for hoods or rear hatches.
