I was thinking about the cost of shipping would be more than the item. That sucks to hear about your shipment, UPS some how got one number of my address wrong and it was hell trying to get it. I called everyday they would tell me they can’t find the address and would put it back on the truck and try again tomorrow. I was home one day and they drove buy my house and kept going so I got in my car and pulled there butt over.
Thanks. It was settled. The benefits of paying by credit card. Bank did a charge back on them and refunded my money.
That’s good to hear, do you ever worry about warranty when buying stuff on line?? I hear people have a hard time getting something warranted when they bought online from ebay for example.
I never worried about the warranty. The only company that you might have an issue with is the Ridgid LSA that only applies to tools sold at Home Depot.
No concerns with warranty here. I’ve only ever bought one power tool on eBay. It was a joist drill. As far as online, Amazon has been my choice mostly. If it’s sold and shipped by Amazon, they honor warranty.
Thanks for the tip Ricky, on my way to HD right now!

Don’t forget to check clearance tags for printed dates. Chances are if its old, it’s deeply discounted or even a penny.
Looks like u won’t have to buy any more for a while

Another failed trip haha, everything normal price.
it’s gonna cost him an arm and a leg to get all the brackets 😛
Seriously, if that huge stack was attached to a wall it would look (and work) awesome.
Come to think of, I was thinking the other day, they should design sliding brackets, so you could slide a case forward and grab anything that is in it without removing it from the brackets and it doesn’t interfere with the boxes above.
I guess buying from a reputable place is the way to go so you don’t get screwed on the warranty

That sounds like a good idea but might be expensive to produce and what will happen if there’s something heavy in the box it might fall over on you when you side it..lol

I’ve been thinking that for a while. I’m thinking of just doing drawers on drawer glides. I could do a whole wall of TS Boxes.
If you do the square tubing, the tube can go from floor to ceiling. Anchored in. Allowing everything to slide freely while staying secured to the brackets until the handles are raised.Justin Hernandez wrote:

Does DeWalt make any brackets or do you have to custom make it?

They make brackets. They are called DS Carrier brackets. I have about a dozen pair.
Okay now I understand what you guys mean..lol Yea it would be a pain to take the boxes off the wall open it and than put it back on

They’re great for mobile mounting because the boxes do not move. They will not fall off their mounts. But when it comes to stationary storage, thats a different scenario. Especially if you plan on using them in a work shop environment that will more than likely be accessed regularly.
Looks like you need to find a happy median

Found a couple more 150’s today. I’m up to 32 total boxes. I’m closing in on 77Ford.

Very nice. What did you use for the angle brackets?

Penny Ricky is at it again ::)
I used a stock L-bracket/shelf bracket from my local Ace. Then I welded the little tab on the sides so the boxes stay put while traveling. They work great. I have $12 a pair in them because the small tab was scrap steel I cut up. You could also drill and tap for a small bolt to hold the boxes in place.RickyMcGrath wrote:

$12….. Hmmm. That saves me a few bucks. If I catch a deal at an online retailer, I’ve gotten the DS carrier brackets down to $15-16 with discounts and free shipping.

That is just crazy. You don’t see discounts like that over here. But hey, you’d be crazy to not pick them up for those amounts.
This calls for a new picture… 🙂
I’ll buy a couple large boxes off of you for say $20, that’s a good profit margin.
wow, how come I can never find these deals. Too bad Home Depot closed down after less than a year of opening, I don’t need 50 tough cases but I want 50 tough cases and I would worry about filling them up later !

It so much more gratifying that they are all black and yellow.

Yes……I think it can be unlimited at the one store. 2nd time about 25 to 30 total.
No problems or questions ……..just a refund! [emoji12]
I wish the other HD would just price match…. But I still win in the end.
77ford – 2
Home Depot – 0

I’m curious as to why that store hasn’t pennied them yet.
They have but they will not allow a R/R to a penny so I am very happy with the last clearance price.
That is the store I found 4 in the rafters, still in the box at $18.03. If I would have waited I might have gotten them for a penny.
All the others stores near me have no stock or are at full retail and refuse to PM even with a receipt from the same store……so on to plan B. [emoji41]
So jealous of yous guys having home depot. Never find a good deal in Ireland. I’ve to order online all the time just to get tools at a reasonable price never mind cheap

That’s like you only paid for the paper receipt. Really nice haul. Liking the yellow/black stack!
How much were the nail guns?

It’s penny Ricky right……he only needs a dime in his pocket when he visits Home Depot.
He had to make 2 trips to buy the nails because he forgot the other dime in the truck. Lol
I am still awe…..nice score!
