Milwaukee Power Tool Deal Thread

That’s interesting I always assumed that with one key it did something with the motor

I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t be able to get the fine grained control of torque and RPMs simply by varying the power sent to the motor.

Stopped at Home Depot today. They have the Fuel One Key combo kit with drill and impact driver for $499. The deal is that you buy the kit and get a free tool valued up to $229. Your choice of the Fuel Sawzall, Fuel circular saw, or a 5.0 lithium battery. (wish an impact was on the list but apparently it is only one of three choices. Still, if you are looking to grab the kit you may be able to sell the bare tool and get the one key for the same price as the non one key, or even just keep the tool if you need it.

That actually sounds like a pretty decent deal, knowing how much the sawzall and circ saw are…. although that’s a premium on the one key of course. I think I’ll wear out my regular fuel drills first

It is a decent premium. $150 difference between the regular version and one key.

However if you don’t have a set yet and are also in the market for a sawzall and or circular saw then it is an amazing deal as the total price you pay for the kit plus extra tool is less than what the standard kit plus tool would cost. (or if you bought a set of the regular ones this year from HD, just return them and pay the difference and get the upgraded features plus new tool.

The promo is supposedly until August I think according to the stickers so I would probably look for other Milwaukee suppliers to offer something similar in the next few months.

They might offer the impact wrench  if they carry the deal on Home Depot’s webpage.

It is possible, however the sticky tags in store only show one of three items. There is also signage on the end cap as the One Key now has an end cap display, and the signage shows only one of three free items. The deal says valid 3/28 through 8/1. I’ve been to three HD stores in the last two days and each one has a stock of the fuel sawzall, 5.0 battery, and fuel circular saw on the end cap.

I’ve noticed two things about Milwaukee at Home Depot: it’s perpetually on sale, and they progressively improve offers to move stock faster.  They waited a month for people who desperately want it to pay full price, now a free tool will catch people on the fence about it, and soon they’ll put the deal online and pile other tools on which will likely include the impact wrench.

I can’t wait for the irony in June when Home Depot is giving a free high torque impact wrench with a one key kit and Milwaukee announces a one key high torque impact wrench.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

That is one thing about Milwaukee tools on sale at Home Depot they are aggressive with the promotions!!

JimboS1iceMember since Sep 2015

Milwaukee does run some awesome promos but I doubt they’ll give a HT wrench away, those things got a hefty tag on them and especially is if it’s run key it’ll push 300 baretool.

Well they are giving away a $230 brushless circular saw, or a $180 brushles Sawzall. Though I do happen to believe the circular saw is at the top end of what it may be worth and the high torque impact may actually be underpriced. I’m sure they factored that in when they looked at their target markets.

JimboS1iceMember since Sep 2015

I can see a bundle with a 3/8″ or 1/2″ fuel impact, the smaller ones but not the HT

A little late in the season for getting a battery powered hoodie sweatshirt down my way..is a nice deal anyway…

MikeInCtownMember since Mar 2016

Looks like a great deal. Anyone know what charger comes with the set? (just M12, or the dual voltage one?)

Also wonder about the sizing. Are these on the loose side? I fit into a 2xl UnderArmour hoodie, but would prefer 3xl. is sizing similar?

Everything I have seen says on line only. Perhaps they have them in stores in different markets.

I just got an email from Milwaukee today. Home Depot is selling the One-Key hammer drill and impact with 2 5.0 batteries and a free Fuel hackzall or 7 1/4 circular saw. There are a few other options, but I think this is an excellent deal. I’m not sure if I’m special or if anyone can buy this.

hey man yeah there are a few vendors doing this same deal, CPO and maybe Acme tools, you going to jump on it? @Dano123 just did!

Bmill25Member since Jul 2015

I definitely want it, however, do I need it? And the bigger question, would I want the saw or the hackzall? Sigh. Too many questions. I would buy it right now if they ever included the fuel grinder in this deal.

I’d love a fuel grinder but I don’t think one keys for my, I’ve got by this long without it.

I don’t need a one key either but start adding up how much those tools and batteries cost you realize it’s a really good deal.

comp56Member since Sep 2014

the fuel grinder is worth every penny key or no key……

It is a good deal but if let’s say over the cost of 4 tools costs me an extra 50 dollars each… There’s a fuel Grinder or a lot of other good tool money. I think it’s great technology but it’s technology what will it be in 4 years when my iPhone 10+sxl is to new and rich for old Milwaukee software and I can’t program my drill. It has its place don’t get me wrong and it’s really cool but I’m not running with open arms and emptying my wallet.

I agree it might not be a good deal in general, but with a free $200 circular saw or recip saw, I think it’s the best deal on M18 fuel right now.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

Milwaukee needs to put a guarantee about how long the tool/software app is going to be supported in their documentation. Actually every company is going to in some respect some company is going to stop supporting something too fast and people are going to be pissed. I think it should at least match the tool warranty.

20% off purchase over $150 and free shipping at ZORO.com… TODAY ONLY!!!

I’ll be picking up the M18 Jobsite Bluetooth Radio and M18 vacuum… Happy Birthday to me!!

Dano123Member since Feb 2016

I wouldn’t have got the one key hammer drill if it wasn’t for my Uncle wanting the impact. I paid the difference of the impact set vs the drill impact and sawzall so for $200 I got the one key hammer drill and sawzall. He kept the batteries and impact. Other than my current stuck chuck issue, the drill is super nice. I don’t ever see a need for the one key though. He wanted it so he could control the torque on the impact while working on his car.

I just realized its a “pro event” (whatever that is)… AND it ends today… AND they’re “out of stock online”. :'(

KnarlyCarlMember since Jan 2016

I was just looking at this, it was a deal that was going on for some time at CPO and Acme, but it looks like HD is the only one doing it anymore.   But you can find the one key drill and impact kit for $280 on ebay and find the 7-1/4″ saw for about $180

Good luck

m18 fuel kit with impact driver, hammer drill and circ saw. for $500.

That is the latest generation right?

Is the saw better than the ridgid brushless?

jeffmcmillanMember since Jun 2015

They’ve had better deals like the $150 of gen2 with a free tool, but that’s one of the best milwaukee deals right now without going to questionable ebay dealers.

BremonMember since Dec 2014

For any Canadians, or I suppose anyone who doesn’t mind international shipping, the 2731-20 bare tool Fuel 7.25″ saw is still 169.95 CAD at black rock tools. Shipping was very quick for me, 2 days from eastern Canada to western Canada.

In other news, the no-key radius light is listed at my favorite supplier: $399. The one key version due out in October will likely be $499 if I had to guess. Way too rich for my blood, I could buy a Super Hawg, or Fuel bandsaw for that cheddar.

DR99Member since Nov 2012

Fuck that is so much money for that radius light 🙁 It super cool but ouch

JimboS1iceMember since Sep 2015

Thought the no key was 299 usd
